Popped in for a couple cocktails with my girlfriends. What a cute place! I had looked at the cocktail menu online and lots of good choices for everyone. The bevs were super crafty and creative, perfectly balanced, beautifully presented, and delicious!!! The bartender was Jose. He took great care of us, was very friendly and attentive. We had a great time with him. He makes a mezcal concoction that isn’t on the menu and it is fabulous. He didn’t have a name for it so we told him he should call it the Smokey Josê:) We were in town for our kids hockey tournament and this was a great find on our moms’ afternoon.

Great service ! Friendly staff . Dinner was just a perfect portions and delicious. We had fresh half shell oysters, brie cheese board , shrimp cocktail for appetizer. The fried flounder fillet was perfectly seasoned , mashed potatoes was simple and delicious, roasted Brussel sprouts perfect side dish . The veal was tender . Plank steak was good and juicy too. For dessert we had the Chocolate cake , it’s just ok . The vanilla meringue came with a torching effect , it’s delicious. Cappuccino is also perfect. We had a great meal . Looking forward to trying more food and drink options here . Oh and the signature cocktail “tutu “ my fave drink ! I Almost forgot the bread pudding , also delicious.

Came here on a Sunday morning for brunch around 1pm with my partner. We were able to be sat right away, however, we got the last table so definitely recommend reservations if you have a specific time in mind. Such a wonderful atmosphere with the live jazz band.
We got the lemon ricotta pancakes, the veggies breakfast burrito, and a side of mac and cheese. Everything was excellent and would get everything again. Our server was also great.
Can’t wait to come back here and try their spot next door – Lovesick!

My wife and I had our wedding dinner here in April of this year and it was truly perfect.
We both grew up in Monmouth county so being at the shore was perfect and the restaurant itself is so beautifully designed, there was very little to do in the way of outside decoration for dinner.
We’re both vegan, so we asked if it would be possible to do a full vegan menu and the chef and pastry chef were happy to create a menu for us. Everyone loved the food! Almost all of them not Vegan. (Get the sliders!)
There was enough staff there on the night to help all our guests and then some, and everyone was so helpful and sweet. After dessert and cleanup, we were able to usher all the remaining guests into the speakeasy next door to keep the party going!
It was such a wonderful night, super low stress planning and lead up. And special thanks to Taylor for all her help in getting the event planned and executed. Couldn’t recommend Homesick enough!

Best accident find on this trip. You have to come and try this spot. We were trying to get into another restaurant, but it had a 2 hour wait. So we wandered about and landed here. Thank God. Every dish was just perfect. The salad with pistachio dust looked so ordinary and lightly dressed, but the moment we tried it. It blew our minds. Lightly dressed it should be. The eggplant with goat cheese, at first, we thought needed salt. We were wrong. It’s just perfect. The Lobster Roll on Brioche. Perfect. The Mac and cheese we thought would be heavy because of the cheese. We were wrong again. It was so rich but light. The Broccoli Rabe- don’t need salt. And it wasn’t bitter at all. Banana Split with the banana bruleed. Yum!!! The chicken pot pie. So light!

I want to start this off by saying I have sat on the event of Saturday February 14, 2026 for a full 24 hours. I was so disturbed by the situation that I had to speak on it. My cousin, brother, and I went into Homesick around 10:45pm and sat at the bar. I completely get it was a holiday. I too work at a restaurant in Asbury Park and can attest to how busy the day/night was around town…because I also worked that evening at my restaurant. There were a couple of people at the bar – it was busy but not overly packed. The bartender was closing another group’s tab. No problem. My group patiently waited for our turn. We looked at the drink menu deciding on what we were going to get. I would say we were not acknowledged by the bartender for around 5 minutes. Following, a couple walked in and sat right next to my group. This couple was immediately acknowledge by the bartender and given their napkins. My brother, cousin, and I got up and walked out, no words spoken. Now to my point, we are Black and the couple was White. You can see how that may come across and the racial undertones that suggests. I have been to Homesick for brunch with my girlfriends a couple of times. I have also been to Lovesick because I love the ambiance, cocktails, and the music they play. This situation has put a bad taste in my mouth. I honestly do not know if I will be frequenting this establishment or any other establishments affiliated with this restaurant again. I am a native/local to Asbury Park and have lived here for all 25 years of my life. There is no room for that type of energy in my community. I will be sharing the events of what took place with my friends around the area as well.

Service, food, and ambience were immaculate. Made a slight mistake when ordering and they fixed it with no issues. Jose was a fantastic bartender and did not miss a beat. The happy hour deals are unbeatable – order the lobster roll and French dip (you will not regret it!!)

I love Homesick! It is very inviting and bright inside. They have great cocktails. Excellent service. And very good food.
When we visited my mom had the lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes which she loved. I had the ham and butter on baguette. It was simple and lovely. We shared the heirloom tomatoes with blue cheese and white balsamic and they were very good.
The food here is as fresh, bright and demure as the atmosphere. Definitely a must try.

Beautiful space. You have to have the “warm bread” with roasted garlic olive oil. For meals, i had the Calabrian shrimp and dressed green salad, it was perfect. My partner had the salmon and loved it

From the moment we arrived, we felt swept into an oasis of beautiful ambience with live, relaxing jazz music, excellent service, & fresh, creative, & savory dishes. My hubby & I went for breakfast, & shared the amazing avocado toast as an appetizer. He loved his salmon with salad & helped me enjoy my lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes, which were so decadent. We look forward to returning again soon. Thank you for your hospitality.
