The place is small with 3 tables. I walked in because I was in the mood for some Birria anything and on that side of town. I didn’t feel like walking to Tacombi and saw this place with their menu posted in their window. I saw that the prices were reasonable. There were 2 people at the register a man and a woman, both were friendly. I ordered a birria quesadilla with fries. The meal came up to around $20 and I left a $5 tip. I stayed and ate. The food was delicious. I had to ask for black pepper for the fries. They don’t have black pepper on the tables, just salt, ketchup and napkins. I didn’t know that I had to ask for the consume and pay extra. I thought everything was included when I said that I wanted a birria quesadilla and fries. That was my fault. They do include 2 bottles of sauces that you can use while eating. Give them a try.

A gem in the neighborhood! All their food is delicious whether you’re getting tacos, crunchy tacos, quesadillas, tortas, or nachos. It’s all delicious! They recently added wings to their menu and those are good too! The horchata is fresh and delicious. It’s a small spot to dine with only a few tables but the service is very friendly and the decor is vibrant and colorful. Highly recommend this spot.

Excellent experience. The food is full of flavor, you can really tell it’s made with care and great seasoning; everything was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is pleasant and the place is very clean. The staff was friendly, warm, and attentive, making our visit comfortable and enjoyable from start to finish. So disappointing. This place can never get it right. Chips are always crushed to pieces when ordering nachos to go. How is one supposed to eat this? I have to go wash off my phone now after typing this.

I loved the atmosphere, and I loved how pretty it is inside. I wanted to order the birria quesadilla, because I want to try birria again (this is my second time trying it) The lady at the register was very nice too! Once I got home I immediately began to eat. I first tried the radish, which I think has a spicy kick to it! I never had radish before! I took a bite of the birria and I immediately fell in love. The meat is very tender and rich and the flavor just melts in your mouth. I added the lime into the quesadilla and that made the taste have such a kick! It was better than the first time I tried birria and I will definitely go to the restaurant again 10/10!

The food is good. But unless you dont care about when your food is delivered, I suggest you pick it up or eat at the restaurant. If you order through Uber they will deliver the food more than 40 minutes past the window of delivery and then they will lie about the delivery time on the Uber app so that you have no recourse.

Small space but delicious food! We ordered Pineapple and Strawberry Agua Fresca, both delicious! To eat, we ordered Chicken Torta and Torta Argentina. The tortas were big and full of flavor! The meal was very filling. Definitely going back and most definitely ordering for take out or delivery.

Homemade Taqueria is definitely a great addition to the neighborhood. The decor is humble, simple and narrow-spaced. The staff is friendly and attentive but they just need more time to run the business more smoothly.
We were there on the second day they opened so they were still in a mess with bad waiting time. Most people did take out orders but the indoor seating is also available with 3 people limitation.
We had their Chicken Nachos, Steak Tostada and Birria Mulita to share with a group of two. The food was overall delicious with reasonable price and portion.
It’s difficult to run a business during the pandemic and we might need to be patient giving them chances for the improvement.
