Disappointed this time around
I drove 30 minutes to this spot because the first time I came, the food was excellent. Unfortunately, this visit was completely different. One of the women working there, the shorter one, had a bad attitude and seemed annoyed at my order.
I asked for 4 doubles with oxtail, and she questioned whether I really wanted oxtail since it has bones. Her coworker mentioned they were low on oxtail, but then the one assembling my order said they had more in the back. Instead of just preparing the order, she seemed frustrated and started packing things separately. When I reminded her I still wanted the 4 doubles and just the oxtail Seperately since it appeared to be an issue, she reluctantly assembled them with an attitude.
When I received my food, I was handed a tiny container with 5 very small pieces of oxtail, after being charged $22. When I asked about the portion size, she told me they “usually put around one oxtail per double.” The other employee was polite, and it was clear she agreed the portions aren’t typically likes this. Overall the service was disappointing and unprofessional.
It’s a shame because the food here was really good when I first came, but the service I experienced today completely ruined it. I hope management addresses this, because no one should be treated that way after making the effort to support their business.

I get all my bread, tennis roll and butterflap from this roti shop.Tiffany the cashier is always pleasant, welcoming, and has a genuine smile every time I come in. Her positive attitude and excellent customer service truly make the experience enjoyable. It’s very convenient and always clean. Now I don’t have to drive all the way to Liberty!

Today I ordered from here, I’ve eaten from here before and the food is good, I walked in the previous times. However today I ordered to have it delivered. I spent $27 for what was a very very small portion of $10 potato and $14 for beef curry which was also very very small portion. It was not worth it, I feel like they cheap me out of what I paid for. I will not be ordering again.

This takeout place is a gem. I’ve been here a few times now and I absolutely love their food. I really enjoyed the baigan, pholourie, doubles, roti, dhal, chow mein, fried rice…. it’s all delicious! I also like their variety of sodas and snacks. Their Chinese cake is good too. Service is also very nice and friendly.

4. Most fluffiest polouri I had EVER from a restaurant.

Want to say, I think they were prejudice because I walked in they took care of the other two customers and ignore me completely because I was covered my head was a scarf for religious reason I am Guyanese but this was what they did to me. Ignore me completely. Their food is not that good anyways I can cook better.

Their roti (buss up shut) and doubles roti is not fully cooked. You will see white spots where the flour is still present. You will notice this even more the next day when it’s heated up, you will see the many areas with white uncooked flour and it is stretchy. My suggestion and it’s only a suggestion to make your roti better is to fully cook it. Also, the end of the roti is too thick with just flour. If you can improve this by the next time I buy, I will update the review.

I was so excited for the daal but it’s too salty. Fish cake and egg call was not heated up I had it a bite still. Both lacks seasoning. Jerk chicken and fried rice was good. Roti was fine. Baked chicken is bad. We had a small dry fish sandwich as well. We spent $39. I liked the jerk chicken for what it’s worth.

Halal Guyanese food. It’s so good. I love the chow mein, the jerk chicken, goat curry, fish cake and cheese roll. Reasonable prices, large portions. Great people.
