We had four people in our group. Two ordered the baked oatmeal, along with a red velvet pancake and a traditional eggs Benedict. We also ordered the brown sugar Pop-Tart.
Let’s be honest — we came for the Pop-Tart. And it was good. I’d definitely order it again, but it was a little overcooked this time. Next time I’d love to see it a bit softer in the middle.
The baked oatmeal had good flavor, but we felt it could’ve been more moist. It might really benefit from a sauce or a bit more cinnamon glaze to take it to the next level.
The red velvet pancake didn’t really taste like red velvet — it mostly felt like eating red food coloring without much payoff. Next time, we’d probably stick to a regular pancake or chocolate chip instead.
The eggs Benedict was absolutely delicious. The English muffin could’ve been cooked slightly less since it was a bit tough, but the rosemary potatoes? They absolutely slapped. Easily 10/10 — those alone are worth coming back for.
Overall, solid food, excellent service, and a few tweaks could make this place even better.
The good…my food was amazing, coffee was delicious, prices were fair. Server was friendly and efficient. Will return.
The not so good…my wife had eggs Benedict. One egg was not poached correctly, the hollandais was to runny and overall bland…
Long wait….somewhat loud..
I ordered the Let’s make a Toast, which includes French toast. I asked about the seasonal option THINKING it would still be French toast but the waitress offered a totally different menu item. Although good, I wasn’t impressed because I wanted French toast but what I received was essentially a slice of pumpkin bread. Felt like I was eating dessert and not breakfast. Also, I didn’t receive my coffee until I was halfway finished with my meal. The waitress admitted that she forgot.
This was not enough to deter me from visiting. I’ll be back. Great atmosphere with friendly staff.
The food is fresh and well prepared. There are many unique options. The service is excellent. What more could you want?
Highly recommend!
Oh and it was absolutely freezing inside and the bathroom was a frozen tundra.
Food: got the Jon’s Denver omelette and it was alright. The potatoes and biscuits included were yummy but the omelette didn’t really have a taste. Had to eat it with hot sauce and ketchup for there to be flavor, so wouldn’t recommend it.
Menu: the prices were decent but I wish the menu was changed a little bit so it’s a lot more clear about what’s what. The font and size are all basically the same so it’s hard to easily differentiate between different types of dishes right away.
Service: our server was friendly and prompt with our orders. She even was flexible when our friends showed up late. And even though the place was packed, we got a table within a reasonable wait time.
Atmosphere: really cute but simple decor that helped with the casual and fun vibes. The furniture and natural lighting really helps brighten the mood.
