Staff are extremely friendly and very accommodating! If you’re looking for a nice quieter (not silent!) place to eat dinner this is a solid choice. the ribs were great and that garlic mashed potato was divine! I’m not from the area but if I ever return i will be back!

The staff are amazing. We went on a week night so the crowd was a little bit older. The food was pretty good. A soup and salad bar are always included in your meal which is pretty great. The food was pretty good. Nothing to rave about but a decent meal. Desert looked really good they bring out their options on a tray at the end of your meal. A very clever tactic because they looked amazing but I had to resist.

Went here for Mother’s day dinner. I got the prime rib with sauteed mushrooms and it was delicious. Their salad bar is great! I loved the warm bacon dressing. Also, their soup of the day was fantastic. Overall, a great experience.

A very hidden gem, but for anybody that knows about it loves it. Great supper club atmosphere. A small salad/soup bar. One of the best walleye dinners I’ve ever had. Been there a couple times, and will definitely be there many more times in the future.

Haven’t been to Homefront in years so we thought we would try it for take out . Ordered the filet with garlic mashed potatoes. And for my husband I ordered the full rack of ribs. Everything was great!!! The ribs were so meaty and my filet was prepared perfectly medium. Friendly service as well. I would have loved to dine in ! Maybe in the near future.

This is a place everyone should try. The atmosphere is like attending a family function. From the moment you walk in the door you feel welcomed.We had the fish fry and have to say it’s one of the best we have tried. The freshness of the salad bar down to the delectable desserts you will not be disappointed. Homemade goodness at its best.

Small town family dining at its finest. Went for my sisters birthday dinner on a Friday night. We had reservations and were seated after waiting 5 minutes, it was very busy.
Smaller bar up front when you come in with higher tables leading into 2 dining rooms. Guessing its a converted old home as its kinda tight in spots, but very homey. Small soup n salad bar in lower dining room.
Our server took our drink order, she was very pleasant and cheery. She came back with our drinks and a breadsick/cracker basket.
Dinners came with soup/salad bar and while small it was all fresh n tasty. Food came out reasonably quick for how busy it was.
I had the ribs, full rack, which were perfect. Great sauce, not fall off the bone, but not much effort to get the meat off. I think i had German potato salad too. My sister had some sort of seafood dish that she raved about. Mom had a steak that was to her liking and said was delicious. Portion sizes were just right, don’t go crazy at the salad bar! No deserts for us. Prices were middle of the road, not cheap/not expensive, but worth every penny for a great meal. Our server was polite and checked on us a few times. Overall it was a great experience and tho we all left a bit heavier we had smiling faces! We’ll be back!

It’s just a little hometown bar/restaurant that serves great hospitality and good ol” food! My baked cod melted in my mouth, and my mother’s prime rib was perfectly cooked ( and SHE’S VERY PICKY)! Will definitely patronize again.

First time was on a Friday night. The place was packed. The hostess was nice, but they only had one bartender and we waited 5 mins to be acknowledged. Got our table but never our drink. Once seated service was good. I Had the stuffed baked shrimp. It was swimming in butter. Way to much butter that it hid the taste of the shrimp. My husband had chicken with a crabmeat mixture on it and holindaze sauce. The sauce was very thick. There was more sauce then chicken. He said it was good once he scrapped off half the sauce. My steamed broccoli was cold. Husband had the chocolate moose cake and thought it was great. I am giving a 3 star rating. I wish I could give a 3.5 rating because even though the food was average the service from our waitress and hostess was great for such a busy night. We agreed to try it again during a less busy night. Maybe the chef was overwhelmed?

No reservations, maybe a 25 minute wait on a busy Saturday night. Worth the wait. 2 half racks of ribs, chicken cordon bleu and roasted duck with great dressing. All enjoyed along with really good garlic mashed potatoes, chicken with rice soup and small salad bar. Everyone’s potatoes were lukewarm. I’d give it a 4.5 for that. We all would return only with reservations this time.
