Ordered the al pastor wrap and it was absolutely tragic. Not pastor flavor at all, drowning in weird red sauce, it was soupy. Hardly any eggs or cheese, just weird chunks of meat and gross red sauce. It was 7am and I was desperate for something and about to board a plane, so i didn’t take it back, but in any other case i would’ve. For $22, it was pretty offensive to be served that.

Imagine having to self serve order , pick your items from the shelf your self and never have a human interaction but being prompted for a 30% tip that you have to override at checkout … then ordering a $22 sub, to be met with a small sandwich, and being told no, “the picture on a menu is just wrong “ they don’t supposedly make an Italian sub, it just shows it as a sub on the kiosk …. The food was very good, as was, the service. Everyone was quick and friendly. I was looking for a place where there was no wait time. This place was the least busiest, I went right up to the counter to place my order.
I wanted to order the Chicken Caesar Wrap, however, they were out of wraps so I decided on a Turkey BLT. The sandwich was very fresh and served hot. I wasn’t sure how the sandwiches would be since they were displayed behind the glass counter. I was very impressed with the taste and the freshness. Since this was my first experience, I highly recommend this place. Everything was great!!

As I now see others have mentioned in reviews, the portion to cost ratio here is laughably terrible. I know airport restaurants are generally a scam, but I guess I’m the mark here because I assumed that the Caesar wraps being cut in half was to make the display pretty, not that I was paying $21.59 (w/tax) for half a wrap. See photo here with my hydro flask cap for size comparison.
The wrap flavor was fine, but clearly made the day before as the lettuce was quite wilted, and croutons lost any of their crunch.
And welcome to our robo dystopia for the half working touch screen that defaults to a minimum 18% tip, with 0% human interaction. Don’t worry, I was able to get a few screens deeper and tap in $0.00 so the robots feel my disdain.

A great little spot is grab something quick before a flight if you didn’t before arriving at LAX.
Of course, like all the airport shops are overpriced. At least it’s decent enough to get in and out.

The wrap on display looked delicious. I payed $20 for it and then received the smallest little wrap I’ve ever seen. It looked like half of a wrap. Pictured. One would have to buy two for a proper meal. Additionally, to pay by card for your takeout it does not give you the option of no tip. You have to select other and put in $0. The whole vibe of this place seems like a scam. Not impressed. The staff were directing patrons around as if they were idiots and couldn’t read the signage. Bye.

I should have read the ratings. Their steamer wasn’t working so no lattes, keep in mind it’s a cafe. As quite a few people stood around laughing like some type of breakfast hyenas you were directed to check yourself out. My sandwich was burned and chewy. Staff seems to be more concerned with their personal lives and flirting than to attend customers. It was 19 dollars for this trash sandwich.

I didn’t know dry brioche buns were this expensive. If this tasted any better I’d say oh well but I feel like I got ripped off with this one. I’d recommend just going to Dunkin’ Donuts instead. The quality will be the same if not better and your wallet will thank you.
