Bar tender let me know that this is a dive bar with no drink menus, he also let me know he’s been bartending for 35yrs, but couldn’t name a drink he was decent at making. Bad vibes, bad service, I could only imagine what they’d charge since there’s no prices. No thanks, on to the next spot

What a quaint Sports Bar and Grill. My partner and I were looking for a place to chill and have some relax time. It was quite late and this place popped up when we typed in chill place to grab a drink. We decided to head over and were pleased with the gentleman who waited on us and the atmosphere. Good music was playing and the locals were having some good times. Definitely a nice place to relax and play some pool, play lottery, or just sit and enjoy life. Thank you! Cheers!

Disappointed. Came here on a Monday evening for a to-go order, was told it would be a 30 minute wait and waited 30 minutes. Asked the bartender again after 30 minutes like she said and she got angry and said “you need to leave. Right now.” Didn’t even hesitate either.
I am very disappointed with how downhill the service has gone in the past month and a half. A couple of months ago, in September, I would come here every once in a while on Friday nights to sing karaoke when Milo was the KJ and the food was good, all the late night menu offerings were really well done, and the atmosphere was really nice. I am just so distraught because there would be 3-4 workers behind or at the bar and the atmosphere was nice and lively all night, and the few times I have been here recently, service has really gone downhill.
I am hoping to update this review once more staff end up getting hired here that know what they’re doing and they can at the vert least look a customer in the eye and say hello. I am really hopeful that there is some improvement. I really don’t want to be disappointed in this bar, or give any spot a 1-star review at all, it is such a very nice little space and my first two visits here were so good, and I am just disappointed with how downhill it has went in recent months. Really holding out hope for this spot to improve.

Such a great bar with lovely staff! I couldn’t decide what I wanted to drink and the bartender created his own drink for me which tasted incredible. For food I had really amazing jalapeño poppers. I would definitely recommend this place for groups to hang out and socialize. They have lots of typical activities like foosball and pool but also some really cool other options like tablets for group trivia and giant connect 4. Overall a really great experience for all of us!

Lots of regulars and they are friendly. Food is good for a bar, do the turkey melt it’s pretty great. Great venue for bar karaoke if that’s your thing, get here on a Friday night – there weren’t any drink sorority singers – good attempts and some good singers. A lot of veterans, which makes me like it more. Three pool tables and the cues are in good repair.

Bartenders are great, poker machines good, crowd on Friday for karaoke the same. Always the same songs from the same people. I have known the gal who does karaoke there for years. So I feel bad for saying that she has yet to get my voice right on her sound board. I sound the same anywhere else I go but with her I sound awful and not like me at all. When I look at her with a questioning look she motions for me to put the microphone closer to my mouth!! No way!! Makes songs I sing great anywhere else traumatizing when I go here. I feel like the older crowd there is very hard on her about how THEY sound when they sing their same songs. Acting out enough to make her jammed about pleasing everyone. Is very uncomfortable to experience. I haven’t been back there since last time I went 3 weeks ago

I got my drink taken and replaced twice because they didn’t know they took my drink, apparently there was a new bartender that didn’t know what they were doing. And then it takes forever to actually get the bartenders attention to get another one ridiculous. Then, when an older lady started saying I was being rude because I was yelling at her, because I am legally deaf in one ear!!! . And I didn’t think much of it until I walked away, and she started screaming about how I was rude. So I came back up to her and tried to apologize and in return got my drink taken again because they thought I had too much to drink after that. Ridiculous.. so if you’re not an old white guy or their women don’t come here not the vibe. Oh, and if you’re kicking butt in pool they don’t like that either. Lol. That is able ism and not OK, I have severe hearing problems

Came to Home Turf for the first time last night with a karaoke group that visits many venues/bars all over the city, including Dante’s for live band karaoke every week. We were really impressed with KJ Milo. Great voice and energy himself, and manages a list of singers at least 30 long with professionalism and efficiency. He used the board to help singers sound good, something many KJs don’t do, or know how to do.
He was even gracious enough to sing a duet with me, which let me sing a song I love.
It was very crowded, so we left after 1/2 songs. With such interest, and a great KJ like this, Home Turf should run karaoke more than 1 night a week. The 8pm start time is an advantage, but you could pack folks in with an even earlier start time, esp. on weekends.
Thanks for a fun night… oh and we all had burgers, which were really good!
