Let me say this, any review of ones favorite hangout is biased, so here I go, if u look for fancy or food this isn’t it, I suggest u stick with what u familiar with, I love this place, a quintessential dive bar, been going there for years, gritty, rough and LI CHARMING, great people, bartenders as well as locals, (sometimes crazy, nutty, friendly, funny, humble, normal or a little misery) it’s all here, 20 years and never felt hostile, go check it out everyone is welcome, CHEERS

Awesome place!! I love local places they’re usually more intimate, serene and drama free. Ppl seemed to all get along and just be able to conversate, laugh and enjoy their day/night happily and peacefully. I loved that everyone was friendly and convos were with everyone across the bar it didn’t matter if u were friends or strangers; everyone’s opinions/thoughts were included n more importantly respected. There aren’t many places (before covid even) that make u feel so at ease. The bartender we had was amazing!! He was very personable and I don’t think 1 person had to ask for a refill the gentleman was on top of everything.

The bartender kept saying “eyes up here” which in retrospect I understand after reviewing my photos from the night out. but being a bit buzzed at the time, I was confused and thought that was the name of a special holiday cocktail or something.

The lobster risotto was more flavorful. We also had the seafood platter to share. This was my favorite dish of the night. It offer good selection of seafood and it had great flavors.
