I really like this place. I usually get the country fried steak and I’m happy they are now serving it with dinner rolls and butter. The daily specials are an excellent value. Don’t be fooled by the one they call the “half” hot beef dinner, it is huge!

I am not from Omaha or even Iowa so finding this place was amazing!! It has the best homestyle food and service with a smile. I highly recommend sending at the bar (I didnt even drink) where Jamie can take care of you. She is extremely personable and great to chat with!! I love family business and happy to spend my money here!

Council Bluffs peeps must have lower standards. I’m not sure how the reviews on this place are as high as they are. I left Mid American center and stopped by for lunch. The food is definitely subpar. I ordered the hot beef. Rubbery corn, hard roll, jarred gravy. My wife’s Ruben was equally disappointing.

WOW!! We didn’t expect that, Over the top impressed! The taste and quality for the price is unbelievable! I would say it’s hard to find ANYTHING comparable. Our waitress Alexis was amazing! very professional, polite and quick for serving and answering any questions we had. WE WILL BE BACK! If you don’t check this place out! Well that’s your loss, but honestly you would be foolish not to. It’s home cooked flavor and quality at reasonable prices!

This was the first time that we decided to eat here, and honestly the food was not bad at all. What surprised me the most, usually you are waiting about 30 minutes for your food to come out, it was out in what felt like 10-15 minutes. They also had a little game area with claw machines and I think there was a pinball machine too. It was a very nice and cozy atmosphere that I definitely felt comfortable in.

Had two spoons of it and could not eat it anymore. Paid the full amount and left 3 dollar tip.
If you are very hungry and desperate to eat, just go to a nearby grocery store, buy a piece of bread and eat in the parking lot.
