There were several restaurants across from the parking lot, and we randomly chose one to try the stir-fry. To our surprise, it was delicious! There were five of us, and we ordered a total of 4 dishes, and none of them were bad. Every single one was delicious. If you’re going to Cameron Highlands, you should definitely give it a try.The atmosphere was great, the owner was warm and friendly, and very talkative, recommending delicious food.

For holiday places, meal times can be a challenge so we make it a point to eat early. No crowds, no wait. We got here at 6pm. It’s self order which seems to be a thing in Cameron highlands.
Perhaps we ordered a really simple meal of fried rice, Cantonese fried KT, fried xi yang cai (grown locally and so fresh) and a salt and pepper ribs, I found the flavours ok. The salt and pepper was flavoured best followed by the vegetables. The fried rice was below average and the fried KT ok.
Competition is high in Brinchang and somehow it hasn’t left an impression.

好好吃! 有家的味道! Had our dinner here for 2 consecutive nights during our stay in Cameron highlands, because it was so so good!
Staff and Lady boss were very friendly and hospitable. We arrived pretty late and were always the last customers to leave but they never once hurried or chased us away and only close their shuttle after we finished. Definitely a place I will revisit if I come back to Cameron Highlands!

So glad that we have a chance to eat at Home Taste. All dishes we order are so delicious. Especially Ancestor Recipe Stir Fried Pork Belly! We ordered 3 rounds! 2M n 1L. Both adults n kids loved it! We also ordered Special chicken, Marmite Pork ribs which are great too! Wanted to try the local Long Xu Cai but it was sold off! The herbal chicken soup is also very good! Worth every single cents! Value for money!

Food was delicious, we ordered their recommended fish head hot pot (suitable for fish head lover, otherwise can try their dishes with rice and the place is pet friendly. Caveat for bringing pets is to call to pre-book for the outside seating (pet friendly area is outside seating), with Cameron’s cool weather it’s fine for us and our furkids.
