Stumbled across Family Homestyle Restaurant in Greencastle, PA. Faulkner DX Drivers love to find and share about their great finds on the road, so we’re putting this on the map. Just two DX Drivers enjoying huge portions at 1999 prices. You really can’t beat the value here. They need to strengthen their week coffee otherwise I would have given out a five star review.

I came here for breakfast and it was pretty busy but was able to sit immediately. I had an omelet with a side of sausage. I asked for my home fries to be made crispy which they were. Good meal at a good price.

My family and I stopped by while on a trip out of town, and their breakfast menu is wonderful. The pancakes are HUGE, one is plenty for a single person. Everything was cooked just right, nothing burnt or undercooked, and the waiter for our table was very sweet- she answered all of my group’s questions without hesitation and was thorough.
(I definitely recommend the Blueberry pancakes!)

Not very much space inside but it isn’t like you’re entirely on top of people.
Breakfast pricing is very reasonable and very large portion! Pictured is a single blueberry pancake. It was huge, and so so good! Plenty of blueberries and very fluffy.
Homefries are great too!

I started going to the restaurant about 3 weeks ago. Every visit has been awesome. The service has been great and the food delicious. The wait staff goes above and beyond. I highly recommend that you pay them a visit.

Little old diner. Food is average. No flavor. Wife got a hot turkey sandwhich, which is one of her favorite things to eat, she was disappointed. I got fried chicken, which was sufficient to make my hunger go away, but that is about it. The side of corn was inedible. I dont think we will go back. The 55+ crowd loves this place.
