We called in our order of cheesy garlic bread, a meat lover’s pizza, and chocolate chip cookies as we left the cabin, and it was ready for pick up by the time we arrived. Home Slice is also a taproom and has more than just pizza–next time we would love to try their hot subs! We got our order and continued 10 minutes down the road to Some Nerve Brewing Company and ate it in the tap room.

Food is great but my goodness it is not worth the wait. Over an hour for a 12” thin crust and fries. We’ve ordered ahead once before and had to wait another 30 mins to get pizza.

This was a very surprisingly fantastic pizza place. Our expectations were low coming from metro Chicago. But this thin crust pizza was off the charts top 3 we’ve ever had! The combo of sausage, pepperoni and banana peppers was outstanding. When I’m next on the north woods we will go out of our way to get pizza from there again!
