It was a nice quiet place to eat. The food was delicious. I love the strawberry salad. It was quite tasty. So was the pizza it had a nice buttery crust quite a change from other pizzas.

First impression from the cashier that took my order was the highlight of the whole interaction. Other than that the quality of the food could have been better. I ordered for takeout and Half of the pizza was burnt & they made my wings so much earlier than the pizza that by the time I got home to eat the food the wings were cold. I understand they are appetizers, however. Since they are to go I would assume they would make the wings a bit later so the pizza and wings would be hot together.

Let me start off saying….my opinion, my opinion, my opinion. I am a loyal Home Run Inn fan. I am a native and have been eating eating and loving their pizza for decades. I buy frozen, fresh and dock. If you know you know. With this looonnng disclaimer the deep dish pizza is just okay. I was hopeful but nothing beats their thin crust. I will say it’s worth a try. Their perfect pizza sauce is the shining star. However the cheese which makes a deep dish doesn’t hit the spot for me. On another note the turkey pepperoni is the business!! And if you haven’t had the cheesy garlic bread, I believe you have cheated yourself.

I really like Home Run Inn pizza but they are generally always slow. The pizza and bone in wings are always good. Salads are huge and filling, no matter the small or entree option, but i never understand why the chicken for the salad is always a longer wait than the regular wings. The waitress never came back to bring more water, but since she gave us an extra pop, I guess that was acceptable.

First let me say I love HRI. On today we decided to try the deep dish pizza and it’s a no for me. Two of our pizza was burnt and they still decided to sale the pizza, WHY!! Would you eat a burnt pizza with powder Parmesan cheese on the top!! Why powder cheese on a pizza? YIKES! The pizza did not smell good to me either, as well the pizza was too saucy and there was a small amount of sausage and bacon. My suga stated where is the meat at on the pizza, just a lot of sauce but he thought it tasted ok but he likes BURNT food, he even likes BURNT bacon so his opinion is different from most of your customers because people do not want burnt food. Anyway I will stick to the thin crust in the future as stated I love HRI and have never had any problems with them. Also, please don’t put so much sauce on the deep dish because it is soft and soggy (good for someone without teeth) also maybe no powder Parmesan cheese, most will think pizza requires shredded cheese. I will be back for the thin crust in the near future. I also called in and told the store as well and the customer service was excellent and I understand HRI is MAYBE having an issue with their stove and if this is the case, hopefully they will get that taken care of sooner than later OR, take the pizza out the stove before the buzzer goes off. Unfortunately, I will not support the deep dish in the future.

Yes, the garlic butter crust is still sooo yummy. Crust is so good, not as thick as it used to be many moons ago but still delicious. The HRI salad special was yummy as well. Plenty of toppings and and good flavor .

So we wanted something different, had the grandkids and thought it would be a hit. Walked in and the noise level was a bit overwhelming. Had a bit of a wait to be seated although not crowded whatsoever. Our server Tiaya was very nonchalant about her service, far too much time in-between checking on us. We were expecting so much better from service to food. The wife said the Hot Fries were the highlight of the visit.

I don’t even know where to begin. The food was delectable and the staff was extraordinary. Nothing but great sweet caring workers who want you to have the best experience. Ordered the “Nicks Super” which was a supreme pizza along with Alfredo Chicken Pasta. The biggest 2 items that caught my attention the most were the boneless wings and their new “Golden Buffalo Sauce”. The wings were fresh and tasted so delicious it melted so well in every bite. Highly recommend the Golden Buffalo sauce as it felt like a mix of buffalo and bbq with a hint of chipotle! Very cozy and welcoming restaurant. Definitely will be returning. 5 Stars!
