My husband had the large breakfast burrito smothered in gravy. He liked everything except the raw jalapeños…. he prefers them cooked vs raw. I had the three meat breakfast sopapilla with a side of gravy. Absolutely delicious!
If we lived closer, we’d definitely go again.

Stopped by Home Plate in Fort Morgan for lunch, and it hit the spot. Food came out fresh and hot, portions were plenty, and the service was real friendly. The place has that local feel where everyone’s welcome, and the staff made sure I had everything I needed. Prices are fair too, so you leave full without spendin too much. I’ll sure be stoppin by again next time I’m in town.

After being in Fort Morgan, CO a week it was time to check out a restaurant. We chose the Home Plate. The food was excellent and the staff smiling and helpful. Very clean if a bit dated decor but for a local restaurant it was quite enjoyable and I’m sure we’ll be back. I’m a lover of patty melds and this was the best I’ve had in a long time.

Finally. A friendly, hometown restaurant with good food and warm atmosphere. After a week eating in trendy, overpriced, poorly-staffed restaurants in Denver, Home Plate was a wonderful change. We found it through online reviews, and I am sure glad we did! The food was fast, accurate, and reasonably priced. All the staff were friendly and smiling! Good job, and thanks!!!

Traveling through the area a nice sit down place for breakfast is always welcome and the Home Plate is that place. The wait staff was spot on with service and a smile. The food is good, the eggs cooked correctly and our meals arrived hot. Their green chili was good with regional flavors. The bacon cooked correctly (not overly crispy nor under done). The hash browns could have been on the grill a tad longer, but still, a nice crisp on one side. This is the restaurant the locals all go to, it’s like a big family place.

Stopped by at 11:00 for Breakfast. We were seated quickly and got our drinks and placed simple orders; Biscuits and gravy & a Relleno Breakfast. At 20 minutes the Waiter told us that they were filling a large number of “To Go” orders and “It was coming. ” At 30 minutes the Waiter said, ” It’s coming, It’s coming. “
At 40 minutes, We got up to leave. The Waiter told us that if we stayed, that He would pay for our meal and that it was ready. I looked at an empty food window in the Serving Area and headed for the Door. We left. Biscuits & Gravy and a Mexican breakfast should be readily made and not take over 40 minutes to prepare. A Steak should only take 15. Disappointed. Dine in at your own risk.

There were 4 of us that went there for breakfast. It was our first time to visit this restaurant. We were greeted and shown to a table. We immediately had a waitress come by and get our drinks handled. Then another waitress came by and took our food orders. The food was fantastic. The green salsa was some of the best I’ve ever had. It may be too hot for some, but for those that love a good salsa with a bite, this one can’t be beat. Definitely the best restaurant in Ft. Morgan to go to and enjoy a fabulous breakfast!!!

Excellent service, checked on us more than once, kept our coffee hot, very friendly. Food was great… eggs cooked perfectly, generous portion of bacon. Variety of food, breakfast all day… No complaints except it was really busy haha which tells you something! Staff managed to keep up with the crowd smoothly. Will definitely be going back to eat here.
