This place is simple and to the point, great brunch! Food was delicious, order came out perfectly cooked and the drinks were just right. Service and price on point so we will be back.

Got takeout but the atmosphere seemed nice and true to the name. Good food at decent price points for breakfast in the area. Enjoyed my meal!

This restaurant has absolutely wonderful breakfasts with one glaring exception. They do not make hash browns or country fries; rather they serve tater tots in place of these traditional breakfast potatoes. The tater tots are like you buy in the frozen section of a grocery store. The reason they give for not serving traditional potatoes made no sense. So go there for a wonderful breakfast just don’t expect traditional potatoes. I still go there but I don’t order potatoes of any kind because I know I’m going to get tater tots

The Thai tea is exceptional as are the pancakes, the waffles, the eggs and the meat.

The atmosphere is harmed by hard surfaces on all six sides including the ceiling. With only a few people in the restaurant the sound level is high and with more people it is deafening.

Services friendly and speedy.

So in summary it’s a very good restaurant with a couple of serious limitations, namely the potatoes and the noise level. The potato situation could be corrected easily. The noise level could be corrected with some acoustic material on the walls and ceiling.

Finally made it to Home Cookin’ Cafe yesterday, and it was great! I’ll admit I’ve been biased against it based only on the past businesses that have been in that space.

But this diner has the potential to be special for our community. It’s got a stark, basic, but still homey feel to it that reminds you of a place you’d find along a roadside driving thru a small town. Red & white checkered tablecloths on a selection of nicely organized two- and four-tops. Booth seating along the back wall.

I had the $7 biscuits & gravy w/ a side of eggs. Eggs were harder than I prefer, they kindly offered to replace them. The rest of the meal was perfect. Excellent diner coffee. Green chili on my partner’s meal was great, as well. My buddy heard that the breakfast chicken-fried steak w/ gravy and eggs is ridiculous, but I didn’t get to try it this time.

Best part was the service. There were only about three tables and a couple people eating at the counter when we walked in at 9:45am. They had two servers, one person in the kitchen, and another who seemed to be in a flex position. It took a couple of minutes for them to seat us because they were engaged in conversations with two of the tables. One could choose to be annoyed, but it was nice to see. They did the same with us, and most every other table in there while we ate. On two occasions I saw medical staff from the surrounding buildings come in to eat at the counter (re-purposed bar from the previous establishments).

Run – don’t walk – to this place. It checks the boxes for “not pretentious,” “old school,” and “quality.” You won’t be disappointed with the experience.

Located in the Centennial Center alongside Loco Hermanos, King Dumpling and Via Toscana.

This place is amazing. I come here once a week with my family and I’m always shocked at how good it is every time. I typically get their turkey club and it just HITS. The staff is very friendly and the food always comes out quickly.

They sat me right away. After watching someone order food and receive it without having my order taken, I had to ask to get service. I watched the same thing happen to the gentleman across from me. I still received a wrong item and ate the rest of my food before receiving the correction. All that said. The food is amazing. So it maybe worth the service.

Based on the name of this place, I wrongly assumed that the food here would all be housemade. Since they had a Ruben on the menu, I assumed that the corned beef hash would be a good option but it was from a can and awful. My partner got the regular eggs Benedict and the eggs were cooked well but the hollandaise was clearly from a packet or can. The cinnamon roll was good though and the only part of our meal that seemed like it could be house made.

Been meaning to try this place out, see what the food is like, finally had a chance and ordered the most “homey” home cookin’ meal there is, burger and fries. The price was quite reasonable for a burger these days, so was worried it would come out as one of those pre-made, frozen patties, but nope. It was fairly thick and looked genuinely home made of real meat. Fries were a bit salty and tasted like they also had pepper on them, but that could have just been that batch. All in all, they live up to their name and are a reasonably priced place, so not sure how long they’ll last. Better get here and try the place out before they have to move somewhere cheaper just to afford the rent!

We came up to Boulder for some errands and decided to stop for breakfast. This is a nice cozy place. The family were all very nice and helpful. The food was very good and had good portion sizes. Great value for the money. We were able to walk in and get a table right away on Saturday morning, which is always nice!

Kind service. Low quality food. 5 Eggs were over cooked and 2 eggs were under cooked. Potatoes were over cooked. Pork chop was tough. French toast was over cooked on edges. Onion rings tasted like they had sugar in them. Hamburger was average. Cappuccino was awful. Mimosa’s were average. Won’t go back.
