I went here for the first time last night. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was clean and unique. I’m a sucker for house plants, which are found growing all over the restaurant. We ordered 3 different cocktails, all of which were expertly crafted. The guacamole was perfection. The tacos were fabulous. My partner loved the Mexican rice too. The server was friendly, and all of our items came out quickly. The building is not exactly spacious, so I would suggest making a reservation. We will definitely return!

Love Hombre y Lobo! The owners Isaac & Ryan have truly created a great restaurant here in Buffalo. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere and vibe is fun and appealing!
An absolute favorite of mine is the Pastor Taco placed in a Puffy shell, OMG best thing I’ve tasted thus far! All the food is amazing. Favorite drink the Loganberry Margarita on the rocks, the flavor is a nice twist from the original margarita and very refreshing. Finish your meal with the cinnamon churros with dipping glaze, so so yummy! A casual fun restaurant with great food and drinks, craving Mexican this is definitely a must try!

Came in for a quick bite before the Sabres game. Highly recommend. The owners are super welcoming and passionate about what they do. Food was unreal. Literally the best tacos we’ve had. And the cocktails were awesome. Will come back anytime we’re in town. Thanks guys!

I recently visited this restaurant for a team dinner with a large group, and it was an incredible experience from the moment we walked in. The owners, Ryan and Isaac, were wonderful to communicate with beforehand and made everything feel easy and welcoming.
The staff was amazing. They were patient, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made the entire night feel seamless even with such a big group. The restaurant itself is cozy and has an atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer.
The food was outstanding and I especially recommend their jamaica(hibiscus) agua fresca. It was refreshing, delicious, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet the way it often is elsewhere.

I brought my team here for a dinner with a group of 17, and the entire experience was flawless from start to finish. Even though the restaurant is on the smaller side, they went out of their way to reserve a dedicated section for us and made it feel comfortable and private.
Leading up to the event, we coordinated with the owners Ryan and Isaac on details and pre-ordering our food. They were incredibly responsive and made the whole process smooth and easy. Ryan was on-site the day of our reservation and checked in throughout the night to make sure everything was spot-on and it absolutely was.
Their staff deserves a special shoutout for going above and beyond. They were patient, attentive, and handled our large group like pros. The food and drinks were fantastic, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the holiday decor put everything over the top.
We could not have asked for a better team dinner. Highly recommend this place!

This was my first visit to Hombre y Lobo today, and I will definitely be coming back. I was there for Drag Brunch, and I genuinely enjoyed everything – the food, the drinks, the decor, the wonderful service, and Vanna Deux and Freddie Knight gave a terrific performance. Try the cucumber margarita, it’s so good!

Steep prices for a hipster take on Mexican food. Was surprised to get sunflower seeds in my mushroom taco. They weren’t bad, but for sure, the motto of “inspired by Mexico” makes it clear it is not authentic Mexican food and for around $6 per small taco, you need to be prepared to spend a good chunk of change to get full.
It was not made clear that we had to order at the counter. We sat at the table for a long time waiting, looking for a waiter. Someone could have let us know.
The tables inside and outside were sticky and not cleaned. Sad, because the place and decoration itself is adorable.
Water was given in a bottle with the cups unhygienically stacked upside down on top of the reused water bottle.
The one waitress just sat on her computer the whole time texting people instead of taking care of customers/cleaning the sticky tables.

We went to Hombre y Lobo for happy hour to check it out. It is a bright, trendy space. The service staff was pleasant and accommodating. It is not a very sizeable space, however you can make reservations online for the bar, one of the small four person tables, or the to shared community table. There is seasonal, covered outdoor space and a “lounge” as well comprising itself of a couple small couches.
We only had appetizers and they were good. The beer selection was appropriate for the restaurants theme, with a heavier selection of beers that would pairs nicely with their food options. Many other liquid refreshments too, including some specialty drinks.
Parking isn’t ideal, as there are limited on street parking spaces. there are pay surface lots as well. On nights with events at the stadium it will see increased traffic. Give Hombre y Lobo a try!

Charming place with bright colors, bar and table seating. You order food and drink at the counter and the staff brings it to you – very quickly too. Appreciated the extensive vegetarian options (tofu, mushroom, impossible chorizo, fake chicken). Favorite food was the chips and guacamole/queso. The margs were good and had some creative offerings like loganberry and passionfruit. Weren’t my absolute favorite margs but would definitely order them again

Such a fun, cute spot with a great atmosphere! The drinks are delicious, and the tacos are some of the best around. Fish, shrimp, Buffalo chicken tacos were all hits. Perfect place to grab a bite and hang for a while!
