We’ve driven past this Thai restaurant a few times and finally decided to give it a try. I’ll admit, I was a little leery at first — but I’m so glad we stopped in because overall the food was delicious.
As for the spice level, I thought it was tailored toward American taste buds, but their level 5 definitely brings that true Asian-style heat. It actually had a solid kick that we appreciated, so if you’re someone who enjoys authentic spice, don’t hesitate to turn it up.
The Pad Thai was a standout — perfectly balanced with that sweet and tangy flavor, and the noodles were cooked just right (not too hard, not too soft). The drunken noodles were also very good; you could really taste the fresh basil, which I loved. We also ordered the beef salad. The flavors were great, though the meat was a little on the tougher side — but that could just be my personal preference since I like my beef softer. Papaya salad was spicy, tangy and savory.

Everything tasted freshly cooked, which is always a big plus for me. Overall, we would definitely go back again. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for solid Thai food with fresh flavors and customizable spice levels.

We tried the calamari, beef jerky with sticky rice, green curry, curry basil fried rice, and pad Thai. The sauce that came with the beef jerky and sticky rice was absolutely amazing. A must try. The green curry was perfection. The curry Thai basil was chock full of vegetables and well flavored. I’m ecstatic to have a wonderful Thai restaurant in the neighborhood. I will definitely be returning soon.
Update: I have been to Hom Dee 3xs in the past week. My favorite by far is the pad basil. Recently tried the chicken sauté it was amazing. My husband tried the drunken noodles with shrimp. The noodles were flavorful and delicious. The shrimp were extra large and juicy.

We tried the Pat Thai, Red curry, Thai egg rolls, pork egg rolls and the thai coffee. I am a spicy Girl so I always ask for house made sauces. They make an in house chili oil that is amazing. It has a very unique smoky flavor. The Pat thai was good, Red curry was excellent. I preferred the pork eggroll over the thai chicken but with the fish sause over the peanut sause. The lunch specials looked good.
The staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean. I would definitely give this place a try if you ate looking for some great thai food.

Have been anticipating their opening and was excited to try. Ordered carry-out and was not disappointed. We had green curry with chicken, yellow curry with pork and the Thai egg rolls. Everything was fresh and super flavorful. We like some spice and heat levels were perfect for us – Minnesotans beware.

There was a bit of long wait, but to be expected during their first week and they were slammed. Staff was very friendly and clearly communicated wait times before I ordered. Will definitely be putting this in our regular rotation.

Do not skip Hom Dee if you love Thai food!

I’ve been to dozens of Thai restaurants and this is the first that had the “made by grandma with love” kinda flavor!

Every dish had something unique about it in the most amazing way.

The Pad Thai would be my first recommendation. It had a perfectly balanced sweet/sour/salt/citrus combo with just a touch of spice.

The Drunken Noodles were expertly stir fried, with a perfect about of caramelization while the vegetables were still crisp. My shrimp was juicy and not overcooked! Well done!

The Curry Basil Fried Rice had such an amazing blend of flavor that exceeded the description. I’d order it again even as a main dish.

The Green Curry had a perfect blend of coconut milk and curry that isn’t always found with this dish.

The Thai Beef Jerky and Sticky Rice was THE BEST sticky rice I’ve had at a restaurant and the included green sauce was a great pairing.

The Crispy Calamari wasn’t the typical fried tentacle rings. It was large pieces of squid, each hand bettered and fried perfectly. The included sweet plumb sauce again was an amazing pairing.

I can’t wait to return… maybe tomorrow… hungry for more!!!

We tried this new spot and it was really good! We ordered the shrimp fried rice, crispy Thai seafood rolls, and the Thai chicken wings, and everything tasted great. The food was well-seasoned, fresh, and full of flavor. On top of that, the customer service was excellent. Definitely worth checking out!

The food was delicious we had the Pad Thai, Chicken Wings and Won Tons. The green sauce with the wings was a perfect spicy combo. Sweet and sour sauce with good size portion of Won Tons. Pad Thai was a good size portion and came with a lemon. We will definitely be back thank you!

Finally got around to trying Hom Dee Thai in Ramsey, and I’m really glad I did. I love Thai food and ordered the Pad Thai, which was excellent. The flavor was really well balanced and it came with a generous amount of chicken, which I appreciate since a lot of places go light on the protein.

My total came out to about $17, which felt fair for the portion and quality.

For spice reference: I ordered 3★, and it was definitely spicy for me. At some Thai places I usually need to go 4★, but here I probably wouldn’t go higher than 3. If you’re between spice levels, I’d recommend erring on the lower side.

Overall, really happy to have a good Thai option here in Ramsey. I’ll definitely be back.

I love the flavors.

Pad See Ew is bomb!!! So delicious, and my husband didn’t even ask if I wanted to try it, lol.

Red Curry Chicken – yummmmmmm, no complaints. It is a perfect balance of flavor… a tad sweet, but a little fish sauce helped balance it. I packed it to go, and it was still delicious after heating it up. I could eat this all day.

Papaya Salad – Amazing!!!! So fresh, so balanced. I wish it was a bigger portion

Fried rice and Lo Mein are full of flavor and also cooked to perfection. Please don’t ever change or lower the flavor profile. It is perfect, and y’all know what you’re doing.

I am so happy it is only 10 min away from me.

Too excited so no pictures lol

Absolutely wonderful food! Highly recommend! Very authentic and flavorful! I ordered the Thai papaya salad and Khao soi with chicken! Both were excellent! The spiciness levels are definitely based on Thai levels of spiciness, so a level 1 or 2 was sufficiently spicy any thing higher would be for people who like it really really spicy!! You could also get a 0 if you are averse to spiciness! My friend ordered the pad Thai and it was excellent! Not dry and was loaded with eggs and peanuts etc. We will absolutely be back again to support this new business!
