Reviews
Taste wise is good, but I had better tacos.
Quesadillas are too dry.
They had a nice corona beer cocktail.
I recommend going there for the true Mexican vibe. Overall I liked it.
I came here with a couple of friends for tacos before going out. We shared the guacamole to start. Then I had three tacos and a horchata. I went for the pulled beef, langoustines, and fish of the day.
I think the langoustines was my favourite, but I all three were genuinely fantastic. They were really enjoyable, with lovely sauces and flavours. And the tacos had plenty of filling, so it was a solid portion.
The horchata wasn’t really for me, but was good to try. And also went well with some of the spicier tacos. My friends had margaritas (classic and spicy) and said they were both great!
They also had plenty of options for my pescatarian friend, and were able to accommodate my gluten-free friend.
The place has a fun vibe, with great decor and music. Servers were friendly but you could tell they were very busy and possibly a bit understaffed, though this didn’t detract from the night.
For guac, 7 tacos, a horchata, and two margaritas, plus tip (dinner and drinks for three), the bill came to €100.
What was not acceptable was the fact that our order was taken and we did not see any food for nearly 1 hour. We had one drink each in this time and were not checked on throughout that entire time.
I don’t mind waiting for good food but priced at 5.90 a taco we thought it would be delicious.
We ordered 3 each thinking that would be enough, we got no idea of portion sizes from the servers.
What we got was bang average tacos, over priced and the fish taco I got was cold.
The best thing about the place was the cocktail.
The only reason we decided to go here was because of the reviews, but it was overall a below average experience, we went to five guys after and got a better experience, hot food and left full.
The mushroom tacos were delicious, but could have been marinated more. The veggie tostada was great, the chilly ribbons work great. The veggie mole was also very nice and had a great depth of flavour.
The hibiscus tea is also very nice.
They accept cards here.
We had the guacamole appetizer, a tostada, a taco, enchiladas, and flan plus an alcoholic drink each for about 75 Euros with tip. Everything was flavorful and delicious, just a little pricey for the serving size.
Can highly recommend for anyone missing Mexican flavors!
The food was really tasty. We went for a brunch menu but even at lunchtime, the portion was perfect. A guac starter to share among 2 and then some chicken tacos. If you’re afraid of spicy food, no worries… it wasn’t spicy at all, and they have some dishes with a hotness indicator.
Its service is also great, so I can only recommend it.
Would skip the guac and the dessert and only get the tacos next time.
