The service was okay but the food was unacceptable for a barbecue joint. Should have known not to go to a mall to have barbecue. The brisket was mushy and the pork was okay I guess. The ribs were solid in the mac and cheese well you can look at the picture and tell it wasn’t good at all. Beans were just blah….

Delicious home cooked food. Best pulled pork BBQ I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant. Their smoked Mac & Cheese is one of a kind and very delicious. The prices are very comporable to big name restaurants, so if you have an option pick this place over the big name competitor, you won’t be disappointed. The restaurant is clean and there’s plenty of places to sit. The staff are also very nice.

I’m a big fan of BBQ and what’s great about it is that each place does it a little differently. Holy Smokehouse is one place that just gets it right. The portions are a perfect size and no one leaves hungry and there seems to be something for everyone when you go to order.im personally a fan of their Pulled-Pork Nachos, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

Me and my family have been enjoying Holy Smokehouse BBQ for a while from their Chambersburg Mall location, but now that they’ve opened another restaurant in Shippensburg, we are thrilled! Really great barbeque with great prices, and super friendly staff to help with our orders, small or large. Definitely a favorite place to visit when we want really great barbeque!

Just moved to the area about 6 months ago with my wife. This is place is, by far, our favorite BBQ joint that we’ve been to so far. Delicious, smokey, flavorful meats and yummy bbq sauces.
The only thing that is disappointing is that, in my mind, truly great bbq places have “the big four” housemade bbq sauces on the tables for trying/dipping: vinegar based (North Carolina), mustard based (South Carolina), mild tomato based (Texas), and spicy tomato based (could also add a fifth mayo-based Alabama white sauce).
This place has (from what I can tell) two kinds of house made sauces: mild and spicy tomato based, but they are not set out for the patrons to use at their own discretion. The second this place starts doing both of these things, it gets a rating above 5 stars in my mind.

Excellent BBQ with huge quantities of meat with each serving. French fries are made with real potatoes. This is my favorite local BBQ spot to eat!
