The salmon was very tasty, the vegetables were fresh and crunchy. My other family members shared a whole chicken which they liked. Our problem was the 35 minute wait for the food after ordering. It was one of those moments when you see food brought out to all the tables around you and you’re getting very hungry. I didnt see orders heading out for takeout so I couldn’t rationalize that there were other orders…The staff did ask how we liked everything and we were honest, and said that the wait for the food was too long.

The ribs and chicken were wonderful, the brisket was very good, and the French fries were great! The prices are very reasonable for the food, and the whole place was warm and welcoming. She even gave us free soup to start. We’ll be coming back here.

Enjoyed a dinner w/3other people. A very enjoyable meal.
2 of us had grilled shrimp w/veggies cooked perfectly w/ a choice of either rice or fries.
Another person had perfectly cooked& great tasting brisket.
Another had the shrimp scampi- another great meal.
We all opted for no dessert, although the bananas foster sounds tempting.
This restaurant serves plenty of food all for inexpensive prices and we drove from the North Shore to try this new Holy Smoke Grill.

While it doesn’t have a liquor license right now, you’re welcome to byob.
Looked like their take -our business was keeping everybody more than busy.
Hope to return soon.

Food was excellent and the service was very friendly. Loved this place, the amount of food for the money is great! We are missing that these days. I had the chicken and ribs, my wife had the brisket. The food was seasoned perfectly, wasn’t overpowering or underwhelming. Hi recommend this place, great family business right across from the East Bay Diner.

My Father and I are BBQ lovers and we’re excited to test holy smoke out when it opened precovid. We really enjoy the chicken and sausage, id love to try out some of the other foods like the pulled pork and brisket which all look delicious. Only problem is my dad
Loves the chicken so much he always wants it, and the chicken is for two so I get stuck being number two! Fantastic, warm. cozy dine in environment, very kind and pleasant to converse with owner and staff. You can tell he and his chef pour their love of BBQ into the food!
The rice is amazing, the fries crispy and cooked to perfection.
Can’t say enough good things about this place and I wish them well through and post COVID. Oh and if you don’t feel like dining in they have nailed down takeout. The trays retain heat well and the meals always tasted the same at home or there.

I ordered the low and slow brisket sandwich was not disappointed. Brisket was juicy and delicious. The ciabatta bread was a little to big. They also gave me their Italian sausage to try while i waited extremely juicy and flavorful. Very happy they opened. Will definitely go back!

Love this place. I had the low and slow brisket which was amazing. My wife had the Izzy burger which was good as well. The Mac and cheese is to die for. Warm and cheesy. I was also given a soup while I waited. This place is very casual and a good place to come for lunch or for a quick easy dinner. The place is worth a shot if your looking for something new in the area.

Holy Smoke Grill has given new meaning to the phrase ‘less is more’. Less frills and fancy ambiance, less pretense, less price and it all leads to more taste and culinary satisfaction. This is a true family operation. They will give you their best effort and that effort will result in the ribs that are as good as any I’ve ever tasted. And I like my ribs. I must confess, it was a treat to be able to bring your own alcohol (no license when I ate there but they might have gotten one.) They even supplied the wine glasses. I wish them the best of luck. This place is newly opened. I wish them the best of luck but it was nice to be able to walk in, be served immediately and get treated like royalty. Once the South Shore finds out about Holy Smoke Grill, it may be a different story.

They had a great Groupon so we decided to try. The grilled chicken wings were overcooked. The brisket was flavorful and not fatty. The sweet potato fries were crispy and delicious. The pork sqewers were good. Plantains were good as were the waffle fries. There is nothing fancy about this place just good food. The hostess is one of the owners daughters and is a very pleasant polite young lady. They deliver from Wantagh to Bellmore and Massapequa.

Saw Newsday review early this morning and I work and live in the area so decided to check it out with a co-worker, was fabulous and will be in our regular lunch rotation now. Sausage and pepper sandwich and the brisket sandwich, both came with a large portion of fries and we each got a drink and came to $24.00, great pricing and great food
