I tried some spinach pies, they were fantastic! Spicy! There’s always someone from the store walking around ready to assist you. I usually get some gyro meat from the cafe but didn’t this time. They also have freshly butchered meats too. The Garlic Dip is very close to our homemade recipe
I took the cheese pita, topped it with Garlic Sauce and olives. Was great! Of course I had to also put some on the spinach pies
From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality that makes you feel like family. The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and filled with authentic Arabic charm.
The food? Absolutely incredible. Every bite tastes like home. The grilled meats are tender and perfectly seasoned, the falafel is crispy and flavorful, and the hummus is silky smooth and rich. Even the fresh Arabic bread takes the experience to another level.
What makes it even better is the attached Middle Eastern supermarket — fully stocked with everything from dates, spices, olive oil, Arabic cheeses, and fresh baked goods to hard-to-find pantry items from back home.
Great service, amazing food, fair prices, and a genuine cultural experience.
You don’t just eat here — you feel like you belong here.
Whether you’re Arab and missing the taste of home, or simply someone who loves good food and warm people, this place is an absolute must-visit.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would — and I’ll definitely be coming back again and again.
To make matters worse, I noticed that while the employee was flipping the chicken kabob, he was holding a towel in the same hand as the metal tongs. Part of the towel came into contact with the food. Seeing fabric from the towel touch my chicken kabob was very concerning and unsanitary.
Overall, it was a terrible experience, and I would not recommend this place.
We had been looking for a Zabiha Halal place to eat as we were new to the surrounding area, we called to confirm the Halal status and decided to dine in without much of expectation.
Much to our surprise we were blown away, first as we entered we thought it was a grocery store, but later as we walked towards the restaurant area, by the service and the quality of food. We ordered gyros which I’m not fond of lamb but it did not have any gamy smell to it, it was seasoned well and it just melted in your mouth, the chicken platter was delicious and tender, it was not dry and you could eat it without much of any sauce.
The portion of meat provided exceeded the servings provided in Chicagoland area especially for the price we paid as it was much more affordable, we had leftovers for the night and we still thoroughly enjoyed it.
We visited this place for the duration of our stay and will continue to visit this any other time we are in Minnesota!
The grocery section is a one-stop-shop for all Halal needs. Their palestinian olive oil is by far the BEST olive oil I’ve ever had.
The restaurant has a vast array of menu items, and the food is always good. I dream of their rotisserie chicken – it is a staple purchase whenever we visit, and we always bring our guests here to enjoy it with us as well.
Be sure to visit, you won’t be disappointed.
