⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ HOLY COW ICE CREAM (Margate) — ABSOLUTE HEAT
Holy Cow Ice Cream in Margate is the real deal. This isn’t that generic “freezer-burned, been-sitting-since-Thursday” ice cream you find at most dessert spots. This tastes like it was actually made in-house with real ingredients, and you can tell immediately.
The flavors are intense, rich, and ridiculously fresh — like someone back there is genuinely taking this seriously instead of just scooping sugar air into a cup.
Shoutout to Thomas, who was awesome. He let me sample a few flavors, made great recommendations, and crafted an impeccable 3-scoop sundae that was straight-up perfection. Perfect balance, loaded toppings, and the whole thing tasted like a premium dessert experience, not a cheap sugar bomb.
The vibe inside is clean, fun, and modern — and the menu is stacked. You can tell this place is built for people who actually love dessert.
If you’re anywhere near Margate and you don’t stop here, you’re doing life wrong.

Tried the Italian ice at Holy Cow and it was AMAZING! Super smooth, refreshing, and packed with flavor without being too sweet. Perfect treat for a hot Florida day. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and patient while we decided on flavors. We’ll definitely be coming back to try more!

I was in the area and decided to stop by for some ice cream with my family, and boy what a wonderful time we had. As soon as you walk in you feel the vibe with the vintage soul and R&B music playing in the background. The side bar area had two large screen televisions with the friendly bartender serving your drinks. They just started playing karaoke on Sundays, {which I just missed). Believe me when I say “I felt like I was walking into my own home”, everyone was so hospitable and welcoming. Now moving on to the treats. I can honestly say that this was the best ice-cream that I tasted in a long time with abundant choices of flavors and toppings and the hot dogs and cheese fries were the best I ever tasted. Not too many if any ice cream shops offer a food menu along with vintage soul, karaoke, and R&B music playing in the background and a bar serving up drinks. I had such a good time I really didn’t want to leave, but didn’t want to wait until the cows come home, Lol. I’m from Miami but would definitely make the trip up.

Cute ice cream parlor. The staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed eating the key lime ice cream on a cake cone. Two of my children ordered the cookies and cream ice cream, one ordered the banana split, and my hubby ordered the funnel cake plate.

The family and I went to another sit down ice cream place and walked out due to rude service. Found Holy Cow Ice Cream online and came here. WOW what a difference good hospitality makes. Destiny was working and treated us very kindly. The inside is clean along with games for the kids and plenty of flavors of ice cream to pick from. Well worth coming back.

I made a stop at Holy Cow Ice Cream to treat myself with a refreshing Italian ice. I don’t know how this place is during the day, but it’s a bit of a chill vibe at the moment. R&B and hip hop music were playing while kids were playing video games in the game zone area, and other patrons enjoyed their cool treats.
I greeted a nice female employee and asked for a small Italian ice with the following flavors – strawberry lemonade and tropical breeze. I sat at an available table to enjoy my refreshing treat while watching a fighting event on the flat screen tv at the bar area.

I had a really disappointing experience at Holy Cow. I ordered a pizza and ended up waiting a little over an hour for it. During that time, I saw a couple of pizzas get burned, which delayed things even more. When my pizza finally came out, it didn’t look appetizing, and after just one bite I couldn’t eat the rest. What made it worse was that I still had to pay full price and wasn’t offered a refund or replacement after such a long wait and poor quality.
Edit: I also tried calling afterward, but the number I was given didn’t work and kept going straight to voicemail. I would like an actual way to contact someone about this situation. I even texted!
