Had the fried fish & collard greens. Hubsters got the hot link and potato salad. Collard greens was one of the best we’ve had! Gave us a little taste of the green beans as well and they were spot on! Fish was good as well, didn’t need sauces or anything. Simple but very good! Service was great as well! Will definitely be back!

I ordered the 1/3 pound bologna sandwich platter for $9.00. the meal consisted of a grilled cheese sandwich with a slice of (what seemed to be) Oscar Mayer Bologna. It certainly was not 1/3 pound maybe 1/12 of a pound. The side I ordered was potato salad. I was provided with and ice cream scoop of potato salad. There is no value here and the staff is just wierd.

I paid $16 for this. It’s was okay. The Preston location is way better. Only 3 workers to it took a while to get my food. It was dirty. The “cook” was drinking a soda then made the food .. didn’t wash hands or anything. I waited 20 minutes for them to merely heat up my food. It clearly wasn’t cooked there, they prep it, plate it and serve it in front of you. They must cook at the Preston location and bring to this location. I was very sad. This was my mom day out for me to enjoy a meal alone for a break. And it definitely ruined my mood. The fact this little bit of food cost $16! My husband asked me if it was taken after I ate. I laughed and said no, I haven’t even touched the food yet. I went home, hungrier than when I arrived. When I first walked in I wasn’t greeted, and the tables were dirty. I wasn’t sure if I wait to be seated or of you pick your own table. It took them 5 minutes to tell me to pick a table and another 3 minutes to bring me silverware. Then 6 minutes later I got a drink. I spent 45 minutes in total waiting to get sat, and for myfood.. I ate in less than 6 min and left. I was over it. Very sad, won’t be back to this location. Maybe the Preston location I’ll go back to. I haven’t decided.

The staff was very friendly, but the food was definitely not worth the price it costs. I understand food cost have gone up, but the value of the food needs to match it. I’ve gone to many BBQ places, and most that cost the amount it did here, would have loaded the plates with BBQ and give at least 2 sides with each meal. In order to stay open, the food will need to improve quickly, or it will not last. Sad this is what took the place of Johnny Rockets.

The BBQ was okay/average in flavor, but VERY expensive compared to the serving size. The sides do not appear to be “from scratch” as they tasted like they were scooped out of a container. The food was not terrible, just not great and expensive.

Would give 0 stars if I could. $19 for a so called large brisket with one side. There could not have been even 3 oz of brisket and it was mostly fat. The side of sweet potato casserole was small and way to sweet. We both had the same thing but one of us had a hamburger bun with it, which was nothing special. Cost for two was over $40. I had to ask to make sure they did not give us the small portion. NOT worth the price. We left there and went to another restaurant to eat again as this did not come close to filling us. The portion would have been good for small children. The price as ridiculous. I’ve eaten at many BBQ joints and never paid this much for so little. They said the place opened in May. I doubt it will be open in another year. Probably not even 6 months if they continue to charge those prices for those portions. Back home, I can go have ribs that don’t cost that much and they are delicious. AVOID this place.

The service was good we had a cute young lady with fuzzy ears on. She was very sweet however my husbands pulled pork was freezing cold. My moms fish was obviously freezer burned and the menu was not clear about the way the food was presented i.e. the brisket is just just some shredded mush. We spent a hefty amount of food and the prices are ridiculous. I do not recommend. If you want bbq don’t eat here. The greens were surprisingly good.

I went today just for shopping and was excited to see a bbq restaurant. While waiting for my to-go order, I was visually impressed with the food sent out to the customers, which was burgers and wings.

First off I will say the staff was very friendly and remained calm even though they were short staffed. That being said the food served was the definition of okay. I had the short ribs which while the portion size was nice, the quality was very bland and dry. The bbq sauce served did help but only so much. For sides I had coleslaw and baked beans, both of which tasted like it was processed food from the grocery store. I really wanted to like this place due to the welcoming staff but unfortunately the food was almost school cafeteria level and not worth the 54 dollars spent for two people.
