This place was packed, which is always a great sign—but luckily we didn’t have to wait. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and well-organized, even with how busy it was.

The portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality and quantity of food you get. Everything we ordered came out fresh and perfectly cooked. The salads were crisp and loaded with toppings, the burgers were hearty and flavorful, and the fried dishes were golden, crunchy, and clearly made to order—not greasy at all. The dipping sauces were a great touch and paired perfectly with the food.

You can tell they don’t cut corners here. Generous portions, great presentation, and food that actually tastes as good as it looks. Overall, a fantastic dining experience—we’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and great value.

Pub and restaurant with outdoor patio, bar top, and some large format seating.

Service was quick and both menu and drink selections were pretty good. The chicken sandwich I got was delicious.

Only complaint was how dim the interior lights were, made reading the menu a bit difficult.

Holt’s was recommended to me for their amazing grilled cheese and tomato soup entrée. I cannot find the words for how delicious it was! In addition to that, the atmosphere and service were both excellent! And finally, I tried their bloody Mary and that was also outstanding! I will definitely be going back!

Tried a pizza that reminded me of New Haven style, and yes, it really does! My husband, who is crazy about pizza and always wants to try different places, loved it too. We ordered the pepperoni — thin crust, not overly crispy, just on the edges and perfectly balanced, neither hard nor chewy. Fresh tomatoes for the sauce and delicious, high-quality pepperoni. Another place I’m happy to recommend for pizza lovers.

This is a great place for unique and tastey pizza. The sandwiches are also good. I would not recommend the entree salads. They are 16 dollars before tax, non come with protein, and the portions are not reflective of the price. IF you do want protein on your salad, expect to pay over 20 dollars for the vegetables with no where near 6.00 dollars worth of chicken.
The pizza and sandwiches are great though. You’ll get more bang for your buck that way. The salads are robbery..

Holt’s is a okay restaurant/bar. I came strictly for their cheese pizza since they claim they are New Haven style pizza! I had to come check it out. pizza was kinda okay nothing special at all sauce was kinda weak. I wouldn’t call that New Haven style. I’ve been to CT and had pizza. Holts crust and dough falls very short compared to New Haven plus you need the right oven which they don’t have. Peace in the city is more closer to CT pizza. Holt’s service was really nonexistent. It took forever for a thin crust cheese pizza to come out!(40min) They have bunch of high school kids running around the restaurant running it. I wouldn’t go out of my way or wait for a table more than five-ten minutes to sit down at Holt’s.

Didn’t get to eat as this was a drink and dash visit. The cocktail list was tasty! I did peak across our table to take notice the food appeared rather delicious. Would definitely return with an empty stomach next time!

My regret with Holt’s is I did takeout. It was a cold Chicago night. So the pizza was not as fresh and my review is currently an inaccurate measure. Will update when I go back to eat fresh.

Someone did lie/mislead us by saying the wing orders were about 6-8 wings. We ordered 4, and each pack had about 10-12. So not sure if we got lucky?? If we did, the wings do have a dry rub so if that’s not your thing, these aren’t for you.

The crust on the pizza was nice. Still crisp. Will have to try again to get fresh toppings.

Holt’s in Park Ridge brings a fresh take on American comfort food with its standout New Haven-style pizzas that boast a crispy, charred crust and inventive toppings like Italian beef or classic margherita, delivering bold flavors in every slice. The burgers are juicy and customizable, paired well with creative salads or cheese curds that add a satisfying crunch, while the craft cocktail menu offers refreshing twists like a house-infused gin fizz. Though some pizzas could arrive a tad cooler during busy rushes, the quality and portion sizes make it a worthwhile indulgence without overpricing.
The vibe at Holt’s is modern yet cozy, with vintage-inspired decor and an energetic bar scene that’s perfect for casual gatherings or after-work drinks, enhanced by a selection of local beers on tap. Service is friendly and efficient, with staff providing spot-on recommendations, but it can slow slightly on crowded weekends. Overall, this spot earns its four stars as a reliable neighborhood gem for elevated pub fare in the Chicago suburbs.

I was standing in front of restaurant for few minutes because I wasn’t sure what kind of food they’re serving, but I did get in because of everyone ordered pizza. Must be good pizza here. Don’t look like typical pizza I usually have so I order special pizza. Elote pizza looks great, small size definitely enough for two persons but this pizza was tasteless!! It’s literally no flavor. Great ingredients and amazing pizza dough but why no flavor, but I love restaurant vibe. It’s fun vibe, great out door seating, great fast service. Superb cocktails here. Gin with vermouth is amazing, smoke old fashion even better. I definitely go back for more cocktails and different special pizza next time.
