I went too long in life not knowing about this place. The mushroom chicken sandwich is the stuff of dreams. Great onion rings, too.

I also appreciate the separate, fresh burger toppings, and that iceberg *and* romaine are included. It’s like a little bit of everything for everyone. Really thoughtful.

This place is dirty. No soap in the bathroom. Door knobs are not ADA compliant. No hand sanitizer in the dispenser in the lobby. Had to ask for soap. They brought me the hand sanitizer pump they use themselves I guess. Chair upholstery is ripped. They attempted to make them better by putting covers over them, but the covers need to be washed… Badly.

And I just saw the teenage girl working the register use the restroom (where there is no soap) and come out to promptly wipe down the bar of hamburger toppings.

The food was good enough. I’m not going to think too much about how it’s contaminated somehow.

Unfortunately I didn’t get as far as to review the quality of the food. I drive past this place everyday and always wanted to try it, it seems like a Mom & Pop shop kind of place and I like to support those and many times they are much better than the chains. I asked the young lady behind the counter if they had a paper menu (they have a chalkboard) since I had never been there before. She appeared to be confused by the question so I asked if I could just order a plain jalapeño cheeseburger and again she looked confused and had no answer. After an awkward silence I apologized because I came to the conclusion that there must be a specific way to order at this establishment. I was hoping that a jalapeño cheeseburger was kind of universal. Ended up getting a burrito next door

I keep seeing Hollywood Burger around town, so I decided to meet a friend for lunch at the one in Blue Mound. Hamburger patty was Giant – really oversized and you can put on any fixings sort of like the old fudruckers. Decent will be back

They sign out front says “ Best burger in town “ and absolutely, hands down not a lie.

Just 4 stars because no patio. A number of delicious looking burgers on menu. We just had regular with fries and drink. Burgers come out just meat and bun. You get to fix the way you want from the bar. Meat was good portion as were fries . Food was very good and prices were reasonable. Try it.
