Best down home country cooking you can get! Reminds me so much going to Granny’s on Sunday. Fresh, hot, & made daily. For the price, friendly service, and the all you can eat high quality food (so clean—dipped by servers not customers), it’s a big ole struggle to go anywhere else. We LOVE Hollys Place!

Hollys place in Daleville is a great little lunch gem! They sever southern food and the menu changes daily! Buffet style with a great salad bar!

Holly’s Place has decent food. However, some of the buffet items aren’t seasoned well. There weren’t a lot of good choices on the day we went on Wednesday, and there were only 5 other patrons eating at lunchtime. That usually is a sign to be wary.
The fried chicken needed salt. The Mac and cheese was dry, not creamy or even hot. It must have sat there since 10 or 11 am. Sadly, I regretted choosing it.
The decor is humble and needs an update, but I doubt it would get it in these econominal times. It’s an old standby place to get your meat and three. Beware, the parking lot is terrible. Ruts and puddles right in front of the entryway. There’s some deep cleaning needed around the tables, such as cleaning the cobwebs and crumbs up under the tables closest to the windows. In other words, a little extra attention to the details where customers sit would be nice.
After all of this, though, the owner is a very sweet lady, and she is a caring person. The servers were courteous and prompt to take care of their customers. It’s an old country place and shows it. The working crowd probably needs it around, and there may be good days and bad days, just like anywhere else.
One note to add:
It is NOT an all-you-can-eat buffet anymore. You get a meat and 3 sides with a choice of roll or cornbread, dessert, and a drink for $14. Google needs to hear from the owner to change that information.
We may return on another day and come earlier than 12:30 for better food choices.

Best poundcake of my whole entire life!! The meatloaf was so juicy. The field peas so salty to perfection. Thick or thin fried cornbread! There is not one thing that I tasted that I not love! A must eat lunch location!!!

Stopped in for lunch on my way to Enterprise AL. Went on a Wednesday, and only one other customer was there.
Food was OK, but nothing to write home about. Service was good. I will try another time soon. Prices were a bit too high for what we got.

We had a great visit with Holly and crew. She met us at the door with a huge smile and welcome. Food was exactly what we expected and that is always good. Big kudos on the Meatloaf, country fried steak, cabbage and the ice cream machine was awesome. Wonderful wait staff and clean environment.

Our first time eating here today. We enjoyed it so much! Make sure you check the menu to see what’s being served for that day. Even if you didn’t, it’ll all still be good. Service was outstanding. Everyone working in there is so nice and fast. As for the food, I didn’t even need dinner later today. I’m still stuffed. Can’t wait to go back!

Great “home cookin” buffet plus nice salad bar. I also remind you that drinks are included in the buffet price which is very rare these days with every other restaurant charging $3 and up for anything but tap water. I come here at least every 6 weeks.
