The wonton soup was so delicious and refreshing. I had at least 5 full bok choys and the wontons are always flavorful.

Holly’s has very high standards and reliably serves fresh, authentic dishes. For example, sweet/savory entrees are flavored with plum sauce, steamed fish is served with meticulously julienned green onion and ginger on still slightly crispy bok choy, Mongolian beef has excellent texture and a richly flavorful sauce- not just salty and super hot as in other restaurants. Once we discovered Holly’s we have rarely eaten in any other restaurants on Piedmont Avenue. This is the best food at the best price, along with excellent service!

Crab cream cheese wontons= 8/10 flavor is fine. Very crispy. Looks like crab and cream cheese were blended together.
Chow mein and chow fun = 9/10 great flavor. Lots of veggies. Meat soft. Not oily. Definitely worth it!
honey walnut shrimp = 8/10 flavor is good, crunchy. Tastes fresh/Does not have that strong shrimpy taste BUT not enough sauce so I can still taste/feel the rice flour
Crispy duck= 3/10 Not crispy. Meat was tough. It was really dry and the buns kept splitting in half.
Sweet and sour pork= 4/10 sauce flavor was good BUT not crispy and way too much fat. Did not feel good after eating it

The most authentic Chinese cuisine I’ve tasted for years! The portions are generous and the prices are affordable. Everything is REALLY HAND-MADE. My favorite dishes were Hot & Sour Soup and their hand-made pork dumplings. I’ve become their loyal customer.

For some reason I think all these good reviews are made out by the owner of this place. The food and service was hideous. I ordered a “chicken salad” and all what I got was some thick chopped Romain lettuce and deep fried greasy chicken. I had to change it for something else. I ordered a wonton combo soup, it wasn’t worth the price. The wonton doesn’t taste like real wonton. And the soup had weird cuts of meat, however I don’t even think I should call it “cuts” since the pieces of meat looked like someone chewed it and spit it in the soup as shown in the picture, also the soup was served very quickly which I don’t think it’s something positive since it makes me think that this soup wasn’t fresh. The shrimps seemed like they were seating in the pot for hours. The shape of the shrimps were weird as well.
