The food was amazing! I ordered the Vera sandwich and the artichoke bites — both were absolutely delicious. My husband (who isn’t vegan) got the Italian soup and ended up eating half of my meal because he loved it too! We also tried the cake cup and the Snicker brownie for dessert — so good! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent vegan food and staff are always nice! One of my favorite places to order customized cakes and baked goods. My favorite items are the chocolate raspberry cake, lavender latte and their chicken sandwiches.Their specials food items are very unique and each one I tried are absolutely delicious. I love supporting local businesses and the best part everything is vegan! My friends couldn’t even tell the difference because the food is that good.

I finally got to go and me and my friends tried a ton of stuff, the bagel breakfast sandwich’s were amazing! So was the French toast, onion rings, smoothie, and a cinnamon roll!

Such an amazing place! We’ve been here numerous times and will never stop coming. The staff is excellent, friendly, and welcoming. The environment is incredibly clean, and the food is both healthy and delicious. Great vibes, great atmosphere, truly an outstanding place!

Highly recommend the chocolate peanut butter, lemon raspberry, and funfetti!! Although I’m sure there’s not any flavor of theirs that would disappoint!

I was so excited to eat here while visiting Rochester area for the first time with my partner, but very disappointed. The atmosphere was pretty awful – it seemed as though the manager was fighting with the employees which created an uncomfortable energy while we were waiting for our order. The aesthetics inside are lacking and make other locations in the city preferable to grab a vegan meal. I got a bagel with vegan cream cheese – pretty hard to mess that up, yet there was barely any cream cheese on it and the bagel was cold by the time I finally got it. Fortunately my partner’s meal was good enough to redeem the awful environment and weird petty energy.

Hollycake house might just be my all time favorite place for vegan comfort food. Top notch atmosphere! Most incredible baked goods, desserts, and sandwiches. Almost anything you might fear to miss out on by eating vegan is here. Plant based: Cream puffs, scones, custom cakes, cheeses, bacon, you name it. It’s a pleasant Woman-owned diamond in the heart of Rochester. Every trip could stop by for a quick coffee and treat. Ideal afternoon date spot.
