What a great small town restaurant Food was with out a question absolutely fantastic my wife had a blueberry cream cheese hamburger and I had the chuckwagon club both was wonderful we will be here on Saturday from now on!

I have been here many times now. This little gem of a place serves some great food, ranging from southern dishes to uniquely theirs. I have always had excellent service. The servers and staff at Holly Jo’s are top notch! I have gotten some great food, but after a long, long wait today (hour+), the food came and while it was fresh and hot, it did not have very much flavor and ultimately was not worth the wait. Ice cream was top notch though!
Overall, this place is a 4.5-5 star every visit. It’s really unique and well run. I strongly recommend you visit this local place some time!

Holly Jo’s had everything I was looking for in a restaurant. The food was fresh and cooked perfect. The waitresses are awesome. You will never get to the bottom of your drinking glass.I usually get the Ring of Fire burger with fried egg and ham. Awesome. They put Frank’s red hot on it and it is great. I don’t like really hot.food but this was on time. I ordered some onion petals for an appetizer with homemade southwest sauce and it was really good. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Staff is kind and very friendly. Mac and cheese is served fully seperated however unfortunately. A good quarter cup of oil at the bottom of my dish and a mass of stuck congealed cheese and pasta on top. I always love to support local when I can.
As a career chef Id recommend keeping it in a cooler steam well and using more cream in the recipe to prevent separation as well as not using it for multiple services.

Best BLT in Virginia!!
I have never had a BLT with so much bacon!!
The menu is full of great options that are very reasonable, most burgers and sandwiches are $10 or less.
Excellent bread for each sandwich and I chose the home made chips for a side.

Loved this place! Great food, so many good options to choose from! The Monday special baked spaghetti was just what I wanted and a heaping serving! The fried green beans and Exs sandwich was delicious too. Yummy dessert options, ice cream, coffee, food, beer…a little bit of everything. The service was great from super friendly staff. The atmosphere was nice with a quaint small town feel right off the highway. Definitely give this place a try. I’d be a regular if I lived near there!

Felt welcomed right away. Wait staff very attentive and friendly. Food was good and tea was sweet…just how it should be. Our party of 4 each tried a different burger and everyone was satisfied.

So I have tried here again recently, my first time I wasn’t really impressed. I will say that the second and third time have been better. Hands down they have the best BLT that I have ordered. Very tasty and they definitely give you a lot of bacon. The service is great everyone is always so friendly.
The French fries I am not a fan of not the best I’ve had. Just ok. The fried green tomatoes are good. The cheese sticks are ok. So without a doubt they have some really great items on the menu and some ok items on the menu. Would definitely recommend the BLT.

The food was a great concept, but poor follow through. The flavors were bland and hubby’s sweet tea was at least a day old. Still, great service and atmosphere.
