This was my first seafood boil experience and it was everything I imagined and more! Everything we ordered was exceptional. We got the snow crab and shrimp in a spicy garlic butter sauce and it was perfect. We got fries and garlic noodles on the side that were good as well. We walked in and were able to grab a table immediately. Service was quick and easy. It was a great experience overall and we’ll definitely be back!

If it is your first time trying seafood boil don’t come to this restaurant cuz it would ruin your expectations. What I mean is that the food is OK and nothing more than OK. The restaurant owner should definitely treat their worker better. The only waiter here cleans, serves, check out and managing the entire 12ish table. I feel bad for the waiter dude because he’s definitely doing 100% he can, but certainly not enough for a dining experience. And btw the rice looks like it was left in the cooker for more than a week and there’s a leaf at the bottom that I’m not sure if that’s a special design

The food itself was absolutely delicious… I just wish the workers wore gloves or something more sanitary. The same person that served us our food had just touched the trash can clearing a table a few seconds before…. He didn’t actually touch our food just rolled the bag it was in but either way germs are germs…

One of the best seafood boils in Boston. Generous portions at a reasonable price. Holly sauce is tasty!! If you like seafood, give them a try!!

This was a place, we have been meaning to visit for many years. It was worth the wait.
We had the snow crab and shrimp,my grandson and I each had one My wife had the chicken wings. Two had the chowder.
It was so delicious.Over the top.
The crab and shrimp ( with the corn and potatoes) was about $47.00 each and the chicken was around $13-14.
The service was excellent.
As per all city restaurants, difficult to park on metered street.Belueve handicap accessible.
We will be back.

Visited this seafood boil spot near the Green Line and BU. It’s a convenient location for students, but the seafood quality fell short.

Only the lobster tail felt relatively fresh. The shrimp tasted frozen, and the crawfish were the biggest disappointment—low quality, dark in color, and poor texture. It’s surprising to find such subpar shrimp and lobster in a port city like Boston.

On the bright side, the sauce, service, and atmosphere were all great, so no complaints there. But if you’re looking for high-quality, fresh seafood, this might not be the best choice.

Amazing stuff and great sauces options to choose for your seafood bowl. The taste is perfect as well! I grabbed my food for takeout because the portion was huge. Highly recommend this place!

Brought my bestfriend from Maryland to his first seafood boil and he said it definitely didn’t disappoint!

When I go I always get the sweet holly sauce, third spicy level, eggs, broccoli(best part), potatoes, shrimp(head off), and lobster. I used to live in ATL and this is the best seafood boil I’ve been to so far!! The mango and lychee lemonade is also AMAZING.

I ordered the Calamari and Cajun fries today. Very tasty. Which I can appreciate because a lot of Calamari served in Boston is either too rubbery or the breading falls off the bland unseasoned Calamari when you pick it up. I would just say that my Calamari was slightly over fried not by much for my liking though. I’ll be back to try other dishes there.

Holly Crab/Mad For Chicken is a Cajun restaurant specializing in Seafood boils, remaining as one of the few still around the Allston area.

The interior is very nicely decorated, with friendly staff that can recommend and change around orders if needed. They also offer quite a bit of discount for food through delivery services or other offers.

We got the seafood boil and the fried catfish plate. We tried the shrimp, crab legs, and clams within the seafood boil. The boil had a nice flavor, not as strong as we would’ve expected but still had a nice kick to it, not overly oily but still enough for a coating on the seafood. The seafood was pretty standard, though went well with the boil. The fried catfish was alright, I thought the fries were just ok but using them for the boil helped it. Prices can get expensive, but it is definitely helped by the many offers they do have.

Overall, a decent option for a seafood boil in the area.
