Holly Berry Tea Room

We have been meaning to stop by here for years but always stay busy until too late in the day. Today we finally decided to visit for lunch on this beautiful fall day. What a delight! Reuben sandwich with delicious Chicken Noodle Soup and Cherry ice cream, infused with real cherries and chocolate chips. YUM! I had the Bachelor’s Button sandwich with Pastrami, Swiss, and mustard. Great coffee and tea. Very cozy and friendly service. Highly recommend.

I love coming here! The environment is so wonderful. The ladies who run the tea room are so sweet. I love sitting outside and just enjoying a relaxing lunch. And the food… oh my goodness it is SO good! The prices are so low as well. You get a sandwich, soup or salad, veggie chips, and a dessert for under 15$.

Cute, Antique style restaurant that give you cozy step back into time feel. Attended a bridal shower for my family and the staff was very attentive and made sure everything flowed smoothly. I couldn’t have the chicken salad sandwiches but the staff made sure I was the first one to receive my tomato soup and garlic toasted bread sticks which was yummy ! Would love to come back during normal restaurant hours to try different menu items.

Such a cute place! I went for my very first time last Friday. I’ve never been to a tea room and I’m happy I did.

If you go, the cheese soup was so good! I also had a fresh salad that hit the spot. My friend had a spinach quiche that looked delicious.

This tea room is undeniably charming. The décor is cozy and whimsical, with a sweet, old-fashioned atmosphere that makes it feel like a hidden gem, it’s clear a lot of care has gone into creating the space itself.

Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the warmth of the setting. The wait staff came across as unfriendly and inattentive, and it felt very much like unless you’re a regular, you’re easy to overlook. Basic service and a general lack of welcome made the experience feel uncomfortable rather than relaxing.

They Berry Tea Room is a wonderful place for an intimate lunch or just a tea break. We were a group of eight women and the room we were in was very snug with that many people seated there. But it was quiet and we were able to talk. The service was very good. It was a pretty good size menu. I had what was called the peacemaker which was a sandwich that had half and half on it. I had a choice of three and I chose egg salad and chicken salad. The other choice was tunafish salad. There was also a selection of bread to choose from and it was between a croissant and rye bread. I chose the rye bread which I enjoyed a lot. We started with a cup of soup, and the entrée came out with veggie strips, like potato chips, only in straw shape and we got a nice little scoop of cherry and chocolate chip ice cream for dessert. It was all included in the price. Being a tea room I had to order hot tea, and a variety was brought out for me to choose from. It was served with a beautiful teacup and teapot so it was just like having a tea party. Prices were very reasonable and the service fantastic. I would return to this restaurant in the future.

One of my favorite little gems in all of League City. The cherry ice cream is always praised highly when I bring guests here. My only complaint is that I wish they were open longer so I had more time to share it with everyone I love.

My friends and I visited this place in Feb 2022 to try a new tea place. It was quaint and had different rooms with 3 to 4 tables in each. There’s Alice and Wonderland pictures everywhere which is cute but a but childish to me. The menu was pretty straightforward. I ordered a jasmine lemonade which tasted like jasmine with lemons in it lol but it wasn’t bad, very fragrant. I ordered a portobello sandwich…it was different. I didn’t expect the mushroom to be on bread and act as the meat I was expecting something between two mushrooms. It wasn’t the best amd I was disappointed but good experience. The salad was pretty good but coulda done without the many carrots on top. The bread sticks were pretty good but with a sandwich, ya don’t need bread sticks. What is that. Their sandwiches come with veggie chips which I was not fond of at all. The dull colors of the chips threw me off, considering the sandwich had fresh veggies. Seemed like a cheap way to include a standard side. I woulda preferred chips of my choice but it’s cool. The raspberry custard was strange to me but i dont like the flavor anyways ‍♀️ so I didn’t eat it. My friends ordered tea but there weren’t teas from different lands like other tea places I’ve visited. This place has a tea holder with a variety of teas, that was stuffed to capacity but they all came from a grocery store. Which was tacky. I could have bought a box of my own tea instead of paying $3 for the same experience. Maybe a place for locals but I’ll pass in the future.
