Nice small German market! We visit today and they have so many German imported things that it is difficult to make a decision.

Historic Sanford, FL. Okay, it’s HUGE and has a vast supply compared to other stores carrying German products in the US. The deli counter alone has fresh entrees, hard-to-find German sausages, German cheeses, sandwiches, and unusual desserts you can’t find elsewhere, so hostesses take note: If you want to impress your guests at your next party serve up some of these unique delicacies on your finest charcuterie board. And don’t forget the cookies and candies. At Christmas my husband used to order a tray of German cookies for his office from our favorite German store in Ft. Lauderdale (which was 1/3 the size of this store) because German cookies are so festive and different.

Awesome place…. went for lunch. I had a liverwurst on Rye with mayo and onions. It was perfect, just the right amount of everything. I picked up some bockwurst and Nuremberg sausages along with some mustard, black forest cake, and a few beers I had while visiting Austria. If you like German food, this is the place to go.

Really nice looking foods in the deli. Fresh meats and salads. You can order a Sandwich, coffee, and fresh made bakery pastries from Germany of course,. We were too full from the restaurant around the corner to get anything today, but the next time we come through Sanford we will be coming here for goodies. They also have lots of German European inspired souvenirs and Oma’s kitchen items.

Excellent deli, large selection of German groceries. The baked items and the sandwiches are high points.

I went there to pick up a few cake slices for my dad and didn’t know they had a deli there too. Arden (I think that was her name) was super helpful when I called to make sure they had a few slices of a specific cake. Went to pick up the cake and ended up bringing home sandwiches and candies too. Great service and yummy food.

This a must stop for me if they are open when I am in downtown Sanford. The meats and cheeses look amazing. My kids love grabbing a German candy. I haven’t eaten there yet, though I would like to try it some time.

This place is one of my favorite places downtown. It’s like a small convenience store with many German products and merchandise. During my visit, we got spaghetti ice cream!! I never even heard of anything like it, but it’s basically just ice cream ran through an extruder topped with raspberry syrup and white chocolate shavings.

I found out that they carry Black Forest Cake and I had to give it a try, since I have been looking for the longest time for one. It is a cute little store that has a sandwich counter, baked desserts, beer and various German goodies.

Love this place. Working near by and coming in on lunch is a lovely combo. Their chicken salad and pastries are perfection. My usual “breadless” lunch is a scoop of chicken salad and a bag of chips to scoop it all up with. Show this place love and they’ll give it back.
