I was very excited to try this place out. I ordered the Waakye goat and sauce for 20 dollars and left a nice tip before receiving my meal. I was really let down when it came out and was a slab of rice and three tiny pieces of fatty meat. It could have been good but for the price and portions I was highly disappointed.

I had the fried rice with added plantains. It was so good, the fried chicken that came with the rice was fantastic, crispy skin and juicy in the inside. The fried rice itself was filled with veggies and egg, and very well seasoned, not greasy. I also got a spiced hibiscus juice and it was yummy and refreshing. I ate to the point of being stuffed and still have half my food for lunch tomorrow, the portions are so generous! So delicious, highly recommend.

Got the red beans and rice with fried plantains! Absolutely DELICIOUS! Incredible flavors and so much food! Had plenty to take home as leftovers for another meal.
Very kind staff. Highly recommend!

I got the Red snapper fish with Jollof rice & fufu w/ beef soup. The customer service was good the young lady at the counter was nice and friendly. The Red snapper fish was good but I probably would only get that now and then because it is lots of bones and I am too greedy for that lol the jollof rice was kind of dry, the consistency of the fufu wasn’t as thick as I’m used to it tasted kind of watery to me and the soup was bland. I can definitely agree I would love for this place to succeed but the price was also too high for the food for me for the quantity as well as the taste.

Ordered the goat meat in soup with fufu and rice. Everything tasted great! Only complaint I would have is the meat portion was much too small for what is being charged.

I would love this place to succeed and bring more complex flavors to the city. However, the prices are too high for the amount of the food. There are maybe 6 to 7 pieces of meat in a 20 dollar dish. I also expected more flavors. The banku and okra dish has a unique fishy flavor, combined with okra stickiness and a fermented fufu that most general public wouldn’t find appealing. The fufu and the goat/beef soup tasted average, the pie was rather blend. And as another reviewer mentioned, the food seems to be cooked somewhere else and only luke warm in the container.
For this place to succeed financially, the owner should consider lower prices or increase portions, localized a couple of dishes at cheaper prices to draw crowds in.

Food was amazing. West African cuisine with a Ghanaian focus, also got good drinks like a strawberry lemonade and a ginger hibiscus drink.
Not a lot of dine in space – the restaurant recommends calling or placing a pickup order ahead of time.

Food is good very selfish with the portions of food for $30 I got one piece of goat meat. I feel ripped off, will not be coming back or spending my money here anymore.

The woman working was very helpful in helping us what to decide on and she was super kind. The food was still hot by the time we got home. Which was about a hour away. Food was super delicious. Would definitely come back to try another meal!!
