Amazing food! No complaints, bigger portions would have been nice. The burger was truly splendiferous. I don’t know if the ketchup is house made or not, but it’s REALLY good.
The fish and chips on the other hand i found a bit lacking…..in both flavor and portion. It was like that bit you see in tv shows where they go to a fancy restaurant and the waiter take the top off to reveal a super small piece of food.
My advice is to stick with the burger, but maybe get 2….
Had the lemon chess pie for dessert, it was sublime. A bit small though.

Holeman and Finch is my favorite burger establishment, but can be so much more when they get the small details right. The cheese waffle and tomato soup had deep flavor and warmth to the soul. The chopped salad may be the best in the city. It’s simple, BUT IT HITS every mark. The desserts are always excellent and very saucy (get the sticky toffee pudding). The service was top tier and there is always a personal touch in that you can often find one of the Hopkins family around showing how grateful they are for customers to be there. Get the chopped salad, the cheeseburger, and finish it off with the pudding and you will have a great time!
Note: A few months ago, I had a bad experience there that was out of the norm. Every place deserves a mulligan and they showed out this most recent time that I went.

We had an amazing experience. We were staying nearby at the Georgian Terrace. This is a perfect venue in Colony Plaza. We had great service here. Amazing drink recommendations. And loved their menu and foodie items. Highly recommend.

Heard a lot of good things about the burger at H&F so I had to come and review it. It’s everything they say it is. Farm to table you guys. Very well seasoned. I thoroughly enjoyed and recommend it. The service was a 10 Britt(Honey) was my waitress and she did an amazing job and is really knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere is super quaint and cute. It feels like fall it’s cozy. Ever been to a place good for a date? Good for a solo outing? Good for a group? Well it’s this place.

Met a friend for lunch at Holeman & Finch today in colony square and had a lovely experience! We sat at the bar with no wait, split the burger and chopped salad and the kitchen was nice enough to split everything for us! Burger was delish – double patty . Ask for the special/burger sauce with the fries.
Knocked a few points because they don’t have Diet Coke or honey mustard. But otherwise, recommend!

Glad I had the opportunity to try this place on a visit to Ponce City Market! We went on a very busy Saturday, but we were promptly seated and attentively served! Their staff is top notch and the food is good too! It’s pricey, but that is to be expected in its current space. I’d go again!

My wife and I recently moved from NYC, and after trying several of the big-name Midtown steakhouses (including the ones with Vegas and NYC outposts), we ended up at Holeman & Finch — and it’s the one we keep coming back to. We’ve been five times in the past month, mostly sitting at the bar, and it’s become our favorite spot in Atlanta (I hope my cardiologist doesn’t see this!)
The food is just on another level. The steaks are cooked with real technique, the sides are thoughtful instead of heavy, and the sauces are balanced and honestly some of the best we’ve had anywhere. The fried oysters and foie gras appetizers are outstanding — the kind of dishes that tell you the kitchen actually cares about sourcing and execution.
But what really makes H&F special is the hospitality. The bartenders are sharp and genuinely welcoming, the servers really know the menu, and Linton Hopkins II brings a presence and warmth that sets the tone for the whole place. It feels personal, not corporate.
As NYC transplants, we didn’t expect to find a place that hits this level of food and hospitality in Midtown. Holeman & Finch has become our go-to for ourselves and a place to show off to our-of-town friends and business associates.

Came here after reading Eater’s list of Atlanta’s top smash burgers (this one ranked #6), but to my surprise, it turned out to be a fascinating veggie-forward spot. Not strictly vegetarian, but clearly a place that takes every ingredient seriously. The cabbage and carrot on the veggie platter were unexpectedly stunning.
I also tried an intriguing Indian gin and a mushroom-infused rum — which came together in what’s easily the most layered daiquiri I’ve had in 2025 so far. It opened smooth and slightly sweet like an añejo, but the aged rum beautifully mellowed the tequila’s usual bite at the finish. Just a really elegant, well-balanced drink.
The fish & chips were great too — the batter kept the inside juicy without letting any grease seep through. All in all, a thoughtful and surprising little spot.

This is the second time we went to Holeman and Finch. We were going to dinner for our first anniversary and to see A Christmas Carol. We got the Sunday roast special. Well when it first came out it was cold. My wife asked the server is it supposed to be like this? She said no and took them back to the kitchen . When they came back they were warm but hot. And the meat was pretty tasteless. The server was wonderful she really tried. Well then we went to the theater and had to leave at the intermission because my wife felt very nauseous. Now I’m sitting on the couch while I hear her throwing up in the bathroom. Its like there is no excuse it’s food safety 101 to send food out at proper temperatures.
