Good lunch stop, I got the burnt ends because they were on special and unfortunately did not come with a side so ended up spending an extra $4 for a handful of French fries. My husband got two of their small bites menu items, a pulled pork slider with mac and cheese and a brisket sandwich with french fries and said he enjoyed the pork slider more than the brisket. My burnt ends had too much fat and gristle, the brisket was overcooked and spending $50 on lunch just seems excessive. That being said, the service was phenomenal the atmosphere was great and the food came out quickly, so thanks for lunch.

I visited right at their opening time of 11 a.m., and the atmosphere inside felt like that of a restaurant that’s been around for a long time. I ordered the brisket and chicken—while the chicken tasted great, the brisket seemed off from the moment it hit the table.
It was sliced far too thin, which meant it lacked the juicy, luscious quality one expects. It was served at a low temperature and had dried out, rather than being moist and tender. In terms of flavor, it didn’t quite deliver, and judging by the dark bark, I suspect the issue lay in how it was stored or held after smoking.
On the bright side, the potato dish was excellent. However, the muffin served alongside was in such poor condition that I didn’t even touch it.
I have no intention of returning—not just because of the food, but also because of the old, worn-out tableware. The black plastic plates were covered in deep knife marks that made them look unhygienic. While I can appreciate tradition, I’d prefer to do without aging plastic plates and utensils. I cannot recommend this place.

I like coming here for lunch. The employees are friendly and service is great! I like the overall flavor of the food. The protein is generally juicy and flavorful. However, the portions are small for the price. I recommend this place, but just know the portion sizes are rather small.

Went today for the first time. Phenomenal food! Brisket was cooked perfectly as was the pulled pork. Absolutely the best Mac and Cheese I’ve ever had. Service was great. I will definitely be a regular.

It was okay, but not what I would call good. I don’t think Oregonians understand good food. Was there several days and didn’t have a decent bite, besides salad. Good salad.

Really enjoyed the service from Vicki and the food. I had hot links fries and pulled pork with a side salad. The food was piping hot and fresh. I really enjoyed the spicy bbq sauce. I would definitely go again super friendly people inwhich I enjoyed speaking with. I hope to come back and visit again sometime.

Hole In The Wall has been making exquisite BBQ for over thirty years. The food is fantastic and never disappoints. I love the delicious Slow-Smoked Brisket, the succulent Pulled -Pork, and the Crispy Golden Onion Rings with Sonora Ranch Dressing. If you are lucky enough to get a catered Christmas Dinner at work it will blow your mind. We got Lean Cured Ham, Smoked Turkey Breast, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy, Dressing, and Seasoned Green Beans topped with Garlic.

We just received our order, arrived promptly at the hands of grubhub, but this review is for Gary the shift manager at Hole in the Wall and the portion sizes they deem acceptable. Order was a half chicken (hard to mess that size up), Brisket platter, along with extra sides (thank God for those). $28 for the brisket platter, this platter came with 4 pieces of shriveled brisket off the point. Gary said these are weighed portions of 6 oz. cooked. Like hell they are, plus you’re getting ripped off by whoever you’re buying your meat from. Next up, the side of Dole coleslaw that cost $4.80 and Kraft Mac and cheese for an additional $5. After letting Gary know he was getting ripped off said, I can knock $5 bucks off for ya, but I can’t redeliever anything or refund anything. Save you money and go to KFC. Hole in the Wall should probably just call it a day and close up.

Well…. Nice folk. Welcoming. Wanting to serve their best and do their best by the customer. Admirable aspirations. Falling short and going fallow on the follow through. On to the barbecue. If they were a roast pork establishment I would have no complaints. Smokeless, flavorless, no reason to be called barbeque. Needless to say, no.
