Yo, went to Hola with the fam — vibes were chill. My parents loved their drinks . My mom got the veggie fajitas — they were alright… not mind-blowing but decent. BUT THE SHRIMP TACOS?? Bro. YUHHH — those things hit different. 10/10 would inhale again. Overall, pretty solid spot. Would def go back.

I ate at Hola Restaurant and ordered the Enchiladas Tampiqueñas, the steak on top of the enchiladas was completely inedible: extremely hard, chewy, and impossible to cut or eat. When I brought it to the staff’s attention, no effort was made to resolve the issue or offer any service recovery. Very disappointing experience overall, both the food quality and the lack of customer service. I won’t be returning.

Nice atmosphere, nice service, nice presentation, food was ok.

Chips and salsa are a nice touch to start, but the salsa was a bit spicy. Some might enjoy the extra kick.

Ordered the Burrito Loco. It comes with beef, chicken, and shrimp on top. It doesn’t come with any sides (eg rice, beans, etc). Flavour was ok, but too many things in one sandwich makes it hard to enjoy them individually.

Asked for guacamole as a side order, and they were happy to comply, but unfortunately the colour of the guacamole was a bit brownish which tells me it’s not super fresh.

I wanted to try different tacos, but unfortunately you can’t do that. Each type comes as a set of three. It’s a nice place, I just wish you can select different types of tacos so you can try different flavours.

Hola has a lot of promise. The atmosphere is fine for a small place, the menu has something for everyone, but the tiny low chairs and the polite but inattentive wait staff detract from the overall experience. The chips at the start of the meal are salt free which isn’t my preferred. The salsa was lovely with just the right amount of heat. For dinner I had the loco burrito which is filling and very tasty. It’s got everything; shrimp, beef, chicken, queso fresco, rice, beans and all the fixings. My white sangria was refreshing and tasty.

We come here frequently and always have a great time. The servers are always willing to help with the menu. Awesome fresh guacamole, excellent entrees and we really like the mas fresca sangria. The assorted salsa at the start is very nice.

The outdoor tent was a great place for our group of friends to chat and relax after a long walk at the nearby Breakneck Hill Conservation Land on a hot day. Marissa was a very pleasant waitress, her cheerfulness with bright smile was the reason we wanted to leave this five star review. Food was great too. Enjoyed our late lunch.

Went there on a week day with friends (party of 4). Our waitress was very sweet and sassy (a fun combination). Freshly fried corn tortilla chips with delicious salsa kept coming without us asking. Baja fish tacos (I had requested extra cilantro) was delicious and filling with perfectly ripe avocado, fresh lime, with cute little rice pyramid and black bean in a shaped corn shell. Chicken poblano was also excellent and filling. Shrimp Gobers was missing the avocado slices but these were brought promptly upon request with extensive apologies. Our neighbors got chicken fajitas and the fresh roasted pepper smell was heavenly. We did not have drinks nor desserts, but the meals were really tasty. It was busy enough with a very laid-back ambiance and a lovely decor – modern but warm and inviting. Music was just enough to contribute to the ambiance. We had a really good time.

UPDATE 2: We tried this restaurant another time and have come to the conclusion we won’t be back. Certain menu items here have really taken a nose dive, especially when it comes to take out. Chicken was drier than if you cooked it yourself in a microwave and your pet could probably present the food in a better manner. The portions now are pathetic given the price and the presentation (new picture attached, not the pineapple or tacos which are from the original review).

UPDATE: We went to this restaurant again and it was pretty much a 180 from the first time. We made reservations in the late afternoon. It took them 40 minutes after they sat us down to even get us water (and that was after we asked them to please bring us some). Following that, it took another 40 minutes for them to come back to take our order for entrees (we had to ask again). And surprise, it took them about another 40 minutes to bring out our food. Prior to them bringing out the food, we asked them to please not make our appetizer order, as we assumed it would be brought out with our meals instead of ahead of time. They assured us they wouldn’t and it would not be on our check. As expected, they brought out the appetizer with our main food entrees despite us asking them not to, and they included it our on check… Besides the customer service aspect, it also seems they’ve reduced their portion sizes and their chicken somehow became much drier. We’ll try again to see if this was a fluke and I’ll update accordingly.

We came here on a whim to eat out on my birthday back in the fall, in short this was such a great find!

I had the Cabo Fish tacos and my wife had the Piña Loca. As I’m sure many of you know, fish tacos don’t tend to fully fill you up by the end, but this time I’m pleased to report that after I finished the tacos, I had little desire to steal any food from my wife (haha). The flavors of the tacos were also superb and the presentation was great. I would definitely order them again. Regarding the Piña Loca, the presentation was excellent. Of the little bit I tried, it was very flavorful and the meats were oh so tender. Even when I heated it up the next day as a leftover it was still delicious.

I’m not someone who’s really into food but I wanted to take the time to give this place a shout out because they have the best god damn food I’ve ever had! I will happily drive 40 minutes to enjoy great food and drinks here. Fernando is a great guy and super hospitable! The staff here are super friendly and if this place weren’t super out of the way for me, I’d hit them up multiple times a week!

We love it here at Hola. Friendly staff and really delicious foods. A great place to enjoy a leisurely lunch or dinner with friends. Haven’t had a bad thing on the menu but our faves include the chicken tortilla soup, burrito loco, and the piña loca. The salsa (served with chips on arrival but get some to take home), guacamole, and cheese dip are also great starters.
