The Happy Roll, Red Dragon Roll, Lobster Roll, Mayflower Roll, and the Nigiri were all absolutely wonderful.
The staff was super attentive and friendly. They even brought out a cheesecake and sang happy birthday to my partner! Such a thoughtful touch. We’ll definitely be back.
You won’t be disappointed!
The sushi was the highlight—everything tasted incredibly fresh and was beautifully plated. I tried a mix of classic nigiri and specialty rolls, and each one was flavorful and well-balanced. Even when it got busy, service stayed quick and smooth, and the whole meal felt relaxed.
Overall, Hokkaido Sushi impressed me with its quality, service, and attention to detail. I’ll definitely be coming back!
That said, we did run into a bit of an issue with the restaurant’s policy. There were four of us who wanted to do the all-you-can-eat option, but my husband just wanted to order and pay for a single roll since he wasn’t very hungry. Unfortunately, they don’t allow that — the entire table has to participate in ayce or you all must order à la carte.
We still made the best of it and will come back. But we do feel that this kind of policy should be clearly stated online to help people plan.
I will be returning soon!
We got the ‘all you can eat’. Giving this place a 3 star only because of the service. It was Very slow. We waited TWENTY SEVEN minutes for our first order! The menu says ‘maximum dining time 90 minutes for all guests” so now I know why it took them 27 minutes to bring 8 pieces of nigiri.
The last order of only two hamachi finally got here about 15 minutes later and was really chewy. Nothing like the first one!
