Hokkaido Buffet is a fun place that I visit often. Recently, their quality has become really impressive — a big improvement from last year. They offer a variety of food, and I personally love their seafood, sushi, and sashimi. They fried noodles is making fresh to your order and pretty nice.
I’ve tried the lunch buffet over the past few years, but I didn’t enjoy it because they sometimes didn’t refill certain dishes once they ran out. That’s why I switched to the dinner buffet, and it has always been great. I highly recommend coming for dinner and holidays.
Sometimes they bring the bill a bit early, but you can still continue eating after paying until closing time. Parking is very convenient and located right in the front of the restaurant, though the garage entrance can be a little confusing because of the traffic light.

This is a buffet restaurant offering a variety of dishes. I checked reviews before coming, and many said the food wasn’t worth the price. However, after eating there myself, I’m skeptical of those reviews. For me, it was a very good deal to get delicious sushi, hibachi, and Chinese food. Hibachi alone is already a great deal compared to other restaurants, not to mention the many other dishes to choose from. It just goes to show that reviews don’t necessarily reflect the true nature of a restaurant.

Food was absolutely atrocious. The sushi was dry and the raw fish was chewy. The teryaki chicken looked radioactive. The dumpling and green beans tasted like cleaner. Nothing tasted fresh and were sat in a booth next to a big fan blaring in the corner. I do not this buffet at all. I couldn’t even cut through the desert because it was so stale and the ice cream had a cheap gummy texture. Spent $25 for one person which was completely overpriced for the value.

I’ve been here a few times, the first time I got sick but I decided to give it a second time and the food quality has definitely gotten better. I believe they serve the same items for lunch and dinner, I’ve been for both and I’m pleased with the food and dessert selections. The sushi is good and fresh, I haven’t touched the hibachi because the meat looks a little off but maybe one day for lunch I’ll finally try it. The staff stays out of your way, there isn’t any wait. The bathrooms are clean which is how I judge the cleanliness of a restaurant. I’m definitely coming back.

The food good. They were very welcoming in the door. I don’t like the picture of a person saying dine and dash i get you lost money but as a business that still unprofessional and you need to address that with the cops. The picture up on the window don’t do any of the customers justice it just create gossip. The service is good but they need to be more engage just saying refill and walking away not a good look but over all ths food good.

Hokkaido Asian buffet has a huge selection of foods with a focus on seafood and other Asian dishes the buffet spans two walls of the restaurant and includes stations for salads, seafood and Asian delicacies, soup, hibachi station served by a chef who proposed your selected raw items on a hibachi grill, meat carving station, sushi, side dishes, and desserts. There are many non seafood options… chicken and beef dishes and even some pizza etc for the non seafood eaters. The price is reasonable…$21.99 on Sundays and lower during the week. They do charge an extra $8 for excess wasted food and have many signs encouraging you to only take what you can eat. Service is minimal as expected at a buffet. The food was reasonably good, somewhat better than expected for buffet style service with foods prepared in bulk and left on warmers. Mussels were great, crab legs just okay. I did find that the food quality varied from serving to serving depending on how long the food has been out.

OH EM GEE! I wasn’t expecting all of this! It’s a very nice and clean restaurant. Service was great, plates were cleared off almost immediately and the employees were nice. It wasn’t too expensive for how much fresh food and different food bars, my boyfriend and I ate there and our check was $50. Muscles and sushi were absolutely amazing (fresh wasabi and ginger). All meats were tender and not dry. This definitely is a higher standard for buffet.
Highly recommend.

Compared to a year ago, they have significantly improved. For a seafood lover, just eating sashimi and lobster tails is worth it.

Just gross. Was a quick stop for something to eat, seafood was disappointing not cooked right. They are going to get someone very sick. Everything looked like it sat there for hours. Also the “hibachi table” as you can see the food, it tasted just how it looked. GROSS!!!! Never again. And more then 20$ per person is a disgrace, my son is 10 years old and a tad bit taller then 55” and he was charged as a grown adult. Never again. Don’t waste your time or money.

As sticky as the salt and pepper shakers are, it’s amazing food. One of my top places to go. Tons to pick from. Waitress keeps the drink full and empty dishes gone. The hibachi is amazing. Lots of options.
