For a spot bext to a walmart, this place is actually pretty good! Ive had Hokkaido Ramen and Sushi on my list of places to go for a while and sad ive waited this long to go. The staff was super nice and knew the menu really well. I had the texas roll (cause who wouldnt want bacon on their sushi ) and the spicy beef bowl. Both were good! I liked the roll a bit more than the ramen, because despite getting it hot, the heat really wasnt there. I also got a bubble tea for the road and was able to get a free sample to try before i chose. I was stuck between the Hokkaido milk tea and Thai tea, and got the Thai tea and didnt regret it! It was so good! Definitely give this place a try! There’s one in Fort Worth too!

This place was an awesome find. The restaurant has a modern, spacious layout with really cool anime-style décor that gives it a fun, laid-back vibe without feeling over the top. Perfect spot to hang out, grab drinks, and enjoy good food.
We ordered a mix of sushi, ramen, and appetizers, and everything came out fresh and well presented. The spicy miso ramen stood out with a rich, flavorful broth and just the right amount of heat—comforting and satisfying. The sushi rolls were well balanced, fresh, and packed with flavor, and the crab rangoons were crispy, light, and not greasy at all.
Drinks were solid too—the boba tea was refreshing and not overly sweet, which was a nice touch.
Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall experience felt relaxed and unhurried. Between the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the consistency, this is definitely a spot I’d come back to and recommend to anyone who enjoys sushi and ramen.

I am giving a one-star rating specifically because of the hostess who seated us. In a restaurant, the first point of contact should have a welcoming and friendly face, but she was incredibly unpleasant.
On the other hand, our server was very nice. I would encourage management to put friendly people at the front, rather than someone with such a negative attitude. When I asked a simple question about whether there was a happy hour—since we arrived at a specific time—she responded with a very nasty ‘No.’ Please address this.

I ordered the tantanmen with chili paste and oil on the side. I have acid reflux, my esophagus is raw. I took a sip and was so spicy I returned it because I simply can’t have spice. My server Ajah was amazing and the only one in the dining area. When my new bowl was served to me it was no different and asked for the check. She was told by the cook chicken broth is naturally spicy. I will not be returning. But my service was amazing.

The sweet shrimp was super fresh, the super spicy ramen had that perfect kick with a rich, flavorful broth, and the chashu just melted in my mouth. The takoyaki was crispy outside, soft inside, and packed with squid, over all good place for dinner and lunch.

The Japanese fried rice here is absolutely amazing! It’s so different from what I’ve had at other places — every bite is full of flavor, and the rice is perfectly cooked and seasoned. You can really tell they put effort into making it special.
I also tried the Hokkaido milk tea and loved it! It’s rich, smooth, and not overly sweet — the perfect match with the fried rice.
The staff here are super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole dining experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Second time here, and I keep forgetting to take pictures of this cute restaurant! Spicy ramen is delicious, and the strawberry ice cream is the best I’ve ever had! The people working at the restaurant are very nice and friendly. Bathroom clean and I liked the nice touch of floss and mouthwash in there. 🙂 I say between 3 & 4 stars for atmosphere because they could use some background music and better lighting inside. The area around the restaurant has trash everywhere unfortunately. I know this is a job for the city of McKinney, just worth mentioning. To the person who left a bad review just because you think that young women need to smile and coddle you when you enter a corner restaurant, seek help. The hostesses and other workers in the restaurant are very nice and do their job well.

Im not sure if it was just the spicy ramen that I ordered but its insanely bland. I asked for hottest level of spice & my nose isnt even running. it looks & tastes greasy, noodles are soggy & super stuck together. The image I posted is halfway through eating, apologies.
