Service was good. They were quick to seat us and to get our drinks.
The restrooms were filthy. It was evident they hadn’t been cleaned in quite a while, because there was a lot of grime on the porcelain and the faucets. Yuck.
We enjoyed our time there!!
Their chicken options were ironically their best entrees, a good spread of various rolls too.
The restaurant felt like it’s stuck in the 80s, in a good, non-corporte way. Their sushi is very solid for the price. There is a lot of options for rolls. Their hot food bar is pretty solid and their sushi all you can eat is fresh, fresher than a lot of the places I’ve paid $30 or $40 for. The rice to fish ratio is not that great though, but nothing is stopping you from just getting more of it.
Sushi is varied and fresh. Soup is hot and perfect for cold weather. Food is always warm and the amount of desert is plenty but some are stale but I’ll let it slide since I’m not much of a desert guy anyway.
We went during dinner time on a weekday; some patrons were there but not super crowded. There are a lot of food options.
There is a sushi section with rolls, sashimi, and nigiri. The rolls are not the best, but the sashimi is pretty good, the salmon was the freshest. They put the sushi section on ice to keep the food for longer but it makes the rice hard.
There’s a variety of Chinese food aside from this and salad bar. A lot of the desserts and the cereal were stale.
Some favorites are the coconut macaroons, soft serve ice cream, all the stir fry vegetables ( , cabbage, carrots), jello, and sashimi.
The bathroom was the worst I have ever seen sine my last trip to Mexico. The sink was very clean, paper was full with toilet seats in abundance but every urinal was so stained it made me use a toilet instead which was worse. They need to get a few cans of Comet or some other cleaner and get a motorized spinning brush to clean the porcelain. There is no reason to let a restroom get this bad.
