The food is great, the service very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. We ordered the Moo Shu Pork and Shrimp lo mein (I get no veggies but there are usually veggies in there). We ordered both as dinners which came with your choice of egg drop or wonton soup, an egg roll and dessert. They also put crispy noodles with duck sauce and mustard on the table (and keep refilling) along with a pot of hot tea (which is super yummy). Our meal came to $32 and I brought how half my food for dinner the next night, definitely worth the price. The only down side of this place is that it is a bit run down and in need of some updating.

Food was good but not outstanding. Got the steak which at $19 was way overpriced for the 5oz they give you. Fried rice and wife’s lobster Cantonese was good. Awesome tea. Great authentic atmosphere- place hasn’t been updated in decades it seems but it works. Waiter was good. Girls bathroom was a bit moldy I was told. For me not worth the premium over regular takeout.

Some of my friends have been coming here for over 30 years. Nice, older hometown place. Very cozy and fun at the bar. The house specials are the famous drink here, and the sweet taste is deceiving because after 2 you will feel the alcohol!! The food is fresh and my favorite dish that I’ve tried is the peppercorn shrimp.

Very good food. The staff is very nice and they are all well dressed. Definitely not your run of the mill Chinese take out place.
They even pack your food that you have left for you and have a nice selection of alcoholic drinks.
Tea is complimentary and they will bring you more rice if needed. Crispy noodles with a sweet and a spicy sauce are provided before the main course.

Best Chinese food on Long Island! I’ve been coming here for 25 years now and new once had a bad meal. The food is delicious! Its truly authentic Cantonese cooking with taste second to none! The owner John and the waiters there couldn’t be nicer. The service is excellent! They go out of their way to make you feel so comfortable and treat you like family! Over the years I’ve done nothing but highly recommend this restaurant to many people promising them they won’t be disappointed! Thank you Hoi Ming!

The atmosphere is cozy, great selection and food is fresh and delicious… just from the soup you can tell everything is made fresh and not your typical cornstarch filled food. The food and service are phenomenal. Linens on the table and cloth napkins. Plates, glasses, flatware, tablecloths and napkins are always clean. The decor is so outdated, it’s cool. Staff are so friendly they feel like family. Prices are more than reasonable.

Been coming here since 1974. Excellent service, food and atmosphere. Phil is the best waiter I’ve ever had. He became a friend over the years. It’s to a point that I ask for him, not the others are bad waiters, but Phil is family now.
