Wanted something warm for lunch and this place was perfect! Tried out their Papaya salad, Pho, and Bun Bon Hue. The broths were so good! Liked both of them.

Very clean nice place, but the Pho is just not it, the broth tastes like there’s too much seasoning and salt and the Sriracha game is also not it.

If you are in San Francisco, you must visit Hoi An 1608 isThe breezy, stylish Vietnamese restaurant that’s been an instant hit in Nob Hill. And so far it’s been great. Amazing complex and wonderful people. Everything is clean and well kept. Management team is great. I experienced how fine-dining, indulgent my favorite appetizer “The Grilled Prawns” to the perfectly balanced of roasted peanuts and scallions. I love this place. THE VIBE ISlaid-back and warm, despite the constant crowds. And once inside the converted, you’ll spy families and groups of friends all out for a big night, sharing a wonderful stories.

An authentic Vietnamese culinary journey awaits you at this fantastic restaurant! From the moment I stepped inside, the tantalizing aroma of Vietnamese spices filled the air, setting the stage for a truly immersive dining experience. The menu showcased a wide range of traditional dishes, and I was blown away by the freshness and vibrant flavors in every bite. The staff’s genuine warmth and hospitality made me feel like a valued guest. If you’re searching for an unforgettable Vietnamese feast, look no further!

Was looking for something new and cordon blue around the corner was super small and packed but luckily for us, Hoi An was not. Turns out this place is now going to be one of our go to places in the area. We found the decor aesthetically pleasing, it was elegant and inviting. The service got a lil bogged down, but after arriving it filled up quickly so im gonna give them a break. Seems like they do an amazing job for only 3 or 4 people working. The food is really good, we especially liked the imperial roll, we got both (imperial ad spring) normally only do the spring rolls but something said try the imperial and we were both glad we did! If you get the claypot (we did with the salmon) get rice or noodles. We did the garlic noodles, the Pho (with chicken) and they were both tasty and as expected. The other highlights were the wine bar, my passion fruit limeade (made with real lilikoi) and the bananas Foster. The manager/owner is attentive friendly with a interesting sense of humor. Definitely will be going back. Cant go wrong here very romantic setting.

So glad this restaurant opened. Hope it’s a success in the area. Lovely food, great service and attentive staff. The menu options are good, and being a vegetarian I love the wide range of both veggie and vegan options!! The vegan Mongolian beef is truly delicious!! Love the interior decoration. The manager was very friendly and accommodating when one of our party wanted to add broccoli to their dish. It is slightly more expensive than other places, but worth it ! Highly recommend!!

Have been looking for a dinner place in Polk Street and popped into that Vietnamese restaurant Hoi An, which turned out as a gem for asian kitchen and food! Having ordered a starter and a main course, both has been very fresh, nicely spiced and prepared to perfection. The owner himself took care and was very attentive in looking after our table. Our best food discovery in a two week trip through California!

Nice, mid-sized Vietnamese restaurant right at the corner of Polk & Sacramento streets. The Imperial Crispy Rolls were tasty, and my Special Yellow Curry with chicken and brown rice was medium spicy, tasty, and very filling. My friend had fried rice with seasoned pork and vegetables; also quite good! I particularly enjoyed the German Weissbier on draft. The service personnel is very pleasant.
