This is our second location based in colonial Williamsburg, Virginia. We offer a relaxed professional environment that you can come and have a meal, coffee, wine, or a beer as we are a full service restaurant. We offer order and pay at the counter, but do all other aspects of service to make it easier for you, we offer freshly baked pastries and cakes, made here in House, as well as a specialty coffee roaster and carefully crafted espresso based beverages, as well as our own in-house ice teas, sodas, and cold pressed juices. The atmosphere is lively and vibrant with a continuous section of upbeat music. Hope to see you soon!

LOVED this little nook of sunshine and Southern hospitality. We came back every single morning of our time in Williamsburg.
Hohl was a pleasant surprise all around– from locally roasted specialty coffee, to GF and vegan options labeled on the menu, to the creative takes on breakfast classics like pancakes and oatmeal. Staff was delightful–kind, friendly, and offered helpful suggestions when ordering. And the space itself was inviting and cozy.
Everything we tried (the pancakes, various baked goods, etc.) was tasty and beautifully presented. We did find everything a bit too sweet, but we had that experience in Williamsburg as a whole. The coffee was excellent and even their house made syrups were a pleasant surprise (they offer flavors I have never seen in a specialty place before, so I tried then in a latte and just asked for it to be a bit less sweet than normal).
Hohl is a bit pricey, but it feels worth it for the quality of the food and service. I do wish they had more vegan options.
But overall a lovely spot. Highly recommend!

Love love love! We only visited for 4 days and came here twice because it was so good! I love the vibe they have here and the food and coffee was phenomenal! Cute little 2 story house remodeled into a coffee/brunch spot! The coffee is the best in all of Williamsburg! (I tried several places) the food is beyond any expectation I had. Its good fresh clean ingredients and even if you eat alot it doesn’t make you feel bad! Unfortunately I didnt try the baked good and pastries but they looked amazing! The kerfuffle pancake was beyond anything I have ever tasted! Its the perfect combination of yumminess and surprisingly not even that sweet as it looks. The omelet is most likely the best I have ever had and the lox avocado toast was on point! All the staff was awesome too!

We dropped off our daughter at The College of William & Mary and stayed overnight. Before heading home, we decided to try Hohl for breakfast. What an amazing breakfast!! My husband had a Dingo latte while I had a butterscotch latte. Both as beautifully made as they were delicious! I had the Jammin’ Oats (the most heavenly concoction of nuts and different fruits) with a lovely thick and crispy side of bacon. My husband had the Cowboy Omelet which was a generously sized and yummy! In addition, the place was so cozy with comfortable seating. We look forward to coming back to taste more menu items! Maybe we will bring our kids!

10 Stars!! I got the Dingo Latte and my wife got the Butter Pecan and Maple latte. They were phenomenal! Probably the best latte I’ve ever had. For food, we got the homestead omelet and the kerfluffle pancake. The pancake was deceivingly filling and the omelet had so many good flavors. I usually eat a good portion and I worry that restaurants don’t serve enough, but Hohl definitely had great portions!
It is not a place where you really have a waiter, however, everyone on the staff was super helpful and the man working upstairs was extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone was so kind and we had just such a fun time while we were there. We didn’t want to leave!!
They also make their own simple syrups so that got an extra point from us as we do not like to eat or drink things with lots of fillers and additives.

This was a perfect breakfast spot for us when we visited Williamsburg we were able to walk from our inn. Food and drinks were delicious. It was not busy when we were there, but they definitely were busy with takeouts and I can tell that probably on weekends it may be difficult to find a table. They have limited seating.

Loved the food and service. The sandwiches were large and filled with delicious choices on sourdough bread. The Pear Cranberry pastry was delicious and warm. The BASQUE cheesecake loaded was OUTSTANDING. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Went in for coffee and breakfast. The capucino and omelet were delicious, fresh and tasty! Service was a little slow but it was probably because they were busy! The pastries looked delicious… will definitely have to try next time when I’m in the area!

I don’t normally write reviews like this, but this place was awful. The coffee was terrible and the pastries were gross. We got an almond croissant and it was filled with this nasty goo. The pastry was so dense. Do not come here.

this place took me by surprise…as a self proclaimed coffee shop expert, i can confidently say that this place passed the vibe test with flying colors. latte art was unique and beautiful the attention to detail was every snobs dream. oh… I can still hear the crossing crackling. bra-vo
