Dec 2025 – Breaktime back at the Hogs Head. We enjoyed our Beers and snacks watching the people and roller coasters pass by the castle. A surprise moment occurred when the Weasley-costumed guests we saw yesterday appeared and joined us at our table. They were Americans from the Midwest who come very often to the park in their Weasley disguise.

This dark and stoic bar is located in Hogsmeade Village at Islands of Adventure, right next to the Three Broomsticks restaurant.
It’s actually one of the few places to get a hot butter beer for those rare chilly Florida days. You can get regular butterbeer as well of course, but I wouldn’t recommend getting it here as it’s more expensive. I think they add a tip for the bartenders on- sogst your regular butterbeer at the stands outside.
As this is a bar, you can get other alcoholic offerings: beer, wine, mixed drinks and then water of course. Also, ask the bartender if the hog can say hi. Trust me.

This place is amazing in islands of adventure my favorite bar by far, I want to give a shout out to Rick for making us amazing drinks and for his amazing customer service thank you Rick! The butter beer was so good that I came back for more, we had a few sex on the beach, amaretto sour, beers everything was great, if you come to island you need to stop by here i highly recommend this bar and restaurant!

Great place to stop if for a bite to eat and a cold adult beverage. They have cold butter beer for those looking for it. The food is really good here and is a little better than a similar restraunt over at the Universal side. The staff are super nice and go out of their way to help you. Stop by when in Hogsmeade…highly recommended.

This is a great relaxing and serving restairant. I went for apple pie and ice cream. The pie it was frozen and put it in the oven i am guessing but it took to long for their standards. For about 20 minutes. So the nice lady offer me a butterbeer wich i decline. So another 10 mins she offer me a refund and i told her some fries instead. She gave me 2 litte dishes of fies, extra ice cream, chocolate ice cream that is. A strawberry somerhing with yogurt topped with little pieces of chocolate at no cost. When i was leaving they have her the apple pie. The pie was delicios and hot at the top, but in the middle was coldish. But still very delicious. The lady treated me very polite and was very sorry that they took so long. When she at the beggining asked to the kitchen hows the pie going 1 cooker, i am guessing answer annoyingly to her and another not very pleased with her asking about my pie. Felt bad about that. But in all great service great foood with taste and a very confy table.

Expensive, dry and can use seasoning.. As expected food prices inside 8sland of adventure is quite expensive. The beef patties are dry dry and dry. The smoked chicken you can only taste the smoke and can use simple seasoning such as salt or pepper. Also the drink is not refillable.

The Hog’s Head Ale and Hog’s Tea are my favorite drinks in the park. Try watching the Castle light show on their back patio, it’s a great spot!
2022 edit – Just got back from another trip and I want to give a huge shout out to Christina. She was an absolute legend working the bar, knew all the drinks and had no help two days I saw her working there.

I would normally not review something that I have not tried and I have not ordered any drinks from this place, which is a bar, so I cannot judge the taste of the drinks. But, as a Harry Potter fan, it threw me off so much that the Hog’s Head is basically IN The Three Broomsticks. Like… It is supposed to be a separate restaurant, and not just a bar :/ I’m sure that the drinks are good but… This is probably the place that felt the least authentic in the whole Wizarding World for me. The design of the bar is cool though.
