We are off of Macquarie Street and have plenty of parking, which makes dropping for a quick lunch nice and easy. heard lot about hoghs breath from all ausie friends,so i gave it a try. For me the portion quite big. but the taste was okay, nothing fancy but it was nice. Pork ribs was okay, the steak and rock lobster was also okay, the place big with plenty seat but some corner it bit dusty, the staff was nice and helpful, love the hospitality here but maybe not gonna rush back for the food ✨☺️

Place was near to our hotel so we tried it out. Staff welcomed us and seated us quickly and gave us our menus. I ordered a philly cheese steak sandwich, mac and cheese, and an iced tea. The iced tea first came and it needs to be sweeter. The mac and cheese came next and was a little bland. Overall was a nice dinner. Pub-like food. Service was good. Spare rib a tat dry. Steak was great – cooked perfectly. Curly fries and slaw were delicious. However, the mac and cheese side dish was not good, wouldn’t recommend.

Heard a lot of recommends about this place so me and my friends decided to try that restaurant. However, the food wasn’t what we expected. The steak was bland and tasteless. The staff who served us was not very welcoming and friendly, she tried to clear everything on the table even though we hadn’t finished our food. It was an Indian lady, while the cashier was very nice. In general, I would not recommend my friends to have dinner here.

This is my go to atm.
I used to come here years ago until it started going down hill. Decided to give it another try about a month ago and I’m glad I did.
This time around I ordered the 300gm Sirloin with mash and seasonal vegetables and it was yummo. Came out hot, fresh and steak was done exactly how I like it.
The meal with, a Sarsprilla, came to just under $50. Awesome atmosphere, awesome food.

Sorry but it’s gone downhill, used to be a good easy restaurant that my kids liked but now the food is poorly cooked and hard. Curly fries felt like the texture of concrete. Tables are sticky and not cleaned well at all. Had to remind the people of something we ordered ….. Unfortunately not the same anymore.

I am disappointed to write this review as my husband and l were celebrating our 51st Wedding Anniversary which was ruined by this experience.

Please don’t waste your money here. We used to love the Boss Hog Mushrooms. They were small button mushrooms beautifully cooked now they are large mushrooms cut in quarters and when you bite in to them it’s just hot water. Very disappointing. The steak was passable however the size has changed and the frozen vegetables were very soggy. The few chips we received were ok but not like they used to be.
As for dessert we both received a 10cm square of pudding which was rock hard having been heated in the microwave.
As for the service, l can’t complain because there was none. The staff were standing around the entrance talking.
We should have realised something was amiss when there was only us and one other table of four on a Saturday night!
We arrived at 6.30pm and left at 7.50pm. and no one else had arrived. Being non drinkers we just consumed water yet our Bill was $155!
Truly disgusting and very disappointing.

Finally got to try their famous 18 hour slow cooked steak, and it was everything I hoped it would be. Medium rare was closer to medium, however I thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. Rarely am I satisfied with a steak as I was this evening- great job team.
My date was very impressed with her Southern fried chicken, and the portion was so large she couldn’t finish.
Staff were friendly and helpful, graciously accommodating my seating request, and swiftly bringing tasty appetizers and well made cocktails to our table.. the Watermelon Margherita that Garry made us was dope.
Takeaway containers had magically appeared before I had returned from paying the bill, which is so thoughtful, because hell yeah I wanna finish that delicious food later.
Overall, very happy with my experience, and will probably harp on about it all weekend.

Food was great…. Unfortunately the meals came out very staggered, not all at once. The deserts came out with 30 minutes between the first and last so most of us were ready to leave well before the last desert even came out and it only a waffle and icecream!!!! The wait staff were lovely so I can only assume maybe there was a kitchen issue.

Amazing food! The amount of food here is HUGE! Definitely worth the price! All of the staffs are super friendly and attentive. Great place to have a causal dinner on the weekend with your loved one. Very chill and laidback environment! The dessert “Date pudding” were amazing!
