We hit Hoggy’s today for my Birthday lunch. I was extremely satisfied with the experience. The service was fantastic. The two guys working today were pretty cool.
We got the sampler. Brisket, Pulled Pork and Chicken with Mac & Cheese, Cheesy Potatos and baked beans.
What I really liked is the smoke flavor was subtle. Hands down, probably the best pulled pork I’ve ever had. And thats comparing it to the pulled pork from family in Corpus Christi, TX and Rudy’s down in Corpus.
The pulled pork is great by itself or on their toasted buns. Seriously great pulled pork.
The chicken was really good. I assume it was chicken thighs, with was a nice surprise. Juicy with perfect subtle smoke flavor.
Brisket was ok… I have high standards so its going to be tough to reach those levels. Overall, zero disappointment.
Mac & Cheese was a really nice creamy version. Best if eaten after some of the meat as the flavor seems to pop more.
I liked the cheesy potatoes way more than I expected. Those were great… so good I regretted not trying their potato salad with the same red skinned potato salad.
I’m not the biggest baked bean fan, but Hoggy’s has a really sweet multi-bean version. My wife really liked this paired with the sweet corn muffins.
I’ll definitely be back up off Bethel Rd soon for my BBQ fix!

Some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. The Grazer for $32 is an absolute feast. Every single item we ordered was awesome. Ribs Brisket and Pulled pork were all cooked perfectly with excellent seasoning. The Caesar Cole slaw was my favorite side but the cheesy potato is a close second. The staff was super friendly and this is a place I will definitely be coming back to

I came here for a celebratory dinner with intentions to “pig” out! Everything was great. I did wish my ribs were a little bigger but I was satisfied with the rest of my portions of meat. The owner and employees kept coming around to check on us and asked for our opinions on the food. The turkey was so moist and flavorful, not many places can do that! I will be back to try the other items that I didn’t have room for!

Was not a fan of the food I didn’t like the rub that they put on the ribs and I didn’t like the potatoes or the green beans really and these are all some of my favorite foods. The flavor just wasn’t there for me. My friend got the brisket sandwich and she did really like it so maybe the brisket is the way to go. The service was good though the girl was really nice. They were out of all pop. The machine wasn’t working. The inside of the restaurant is nice. You seat yourself.

Visited from Indiana while in town for a concert. I stopped in around 4pm, not a big crowd, no wait. I got the Grazer (three meats, three sides, three sauces, buns, and cornbread muffins. Also added the wagyu beef tallow chocolate chip cookie which was very good. The cookie was crispy and light around the edges and rich and moist in the thicker areas and lightly salted. If you’ve ever baked with animal fat you’ll pick up on what the tallow provides to the cookie instead of butter. I’d suggest getting a thicker cookie if you want to fully experience what the tallow does for the cookie.
Turkey, pulled pork, and brisket were my three meats and baked beans, green beans, and potato salad were my three sides. The meat was nicely done and pretty straight forward BBQ that no one will complain about. One thing that stood out is they keep the meat moist and tasting fresh even later in the day. I’ve seen where BBQ joints have dry meat as the day goes on. The sides were very good, baked beans were sweet and tangy, green beans were kind of “smothered” with a buttery sauce, and potato salad was light and fresh with more of a celery/pickle vibe rather than too creamy, rich, or sweet. The cornbread was one of the best things on the tray.. very moist and soft in the center.
Brisket had a well formed bark, stayed tender, cut thick. Very good. Pulled pork had great texture and took smoke nicely. Turkey remains an underrated BBQ meat. The sauce choices are unique and addicting (KY Bourbon sauce had a nice kick to it).
I read online that they run an electric smoker but it gets the job done and the texture of all the meat was how it should be so there’s no reason to nitpick about what’s elite BBQ and what isnt. I wanted good food and I got good food.
I’d recommend this to anyone who is in the area. Quick friendly service, the staff thanked me for coming in before I even had my food. The BBQ is well done and I imagine its consistent if I was able to get quality food at 4pm. Thanks again

Even though they were renovating at the time, everyone was pleasant and the food was exactly as I had envisioned. Great BBQ and great people go hand in hand. Keep up the good work!! Green Beans are a must try as well!!

I’ve been a huge fan of Hoggy’s but I’m a bit disappointed on this recent order. Maybe I’m crazy but I swear an order of banana pudding used to be 8oz, not 4oz, I very well could be wrong though as it has been quite a few months since last time I got Hoggy’s. Also, I ordered a grazer; one 3-ribs, two brisket, and the brisket wasn’t even 8oz total. Ribs barely had meat as I got stuck with the ends… like I said, dissipointed but still good. “Shrink-flation” in these “unprecedented” times? At least the amount of mac was still 8oz per serving… Hopefully a one off, I still highly recommend trying this place.

The chef and staff are very welcoming and kind. This place is beautifully rustic and everything is made in house with care and thought put into it. The dry rub on the ribs are incredible! So very juicy and flavorful. The corn muffin was moist and absolutely delicious. The coleslaw is fresh and balanced. Their banana pudding is amazing, as well. I can’t wait to come back and try something else.

Came in shortly before closing and even though most meats had been sold through, we still were able to get a good amount of their pulled pork with some tasty brisket. Sides were just as amazing and it wouldn’t be complete without their in house sauces. Building is currently being renovated, but don’t let that turn you away. It’s still a pleasant experience to dine-in and enjoy some delicious food! I’m a customer for life now due to the amazing customer service provided to us by, Bob. He cares about his customers, and it shows!

Stopped on a whim during our travels and so glad we did!!! The food was top notch, we ordered the Grazer and shared it. Left completely overfull lol.
My favorite part, the service. My 6 yo went up to the counter to get a spoon for her pudding and they treated her with respect and kindness. It was amazing!
