This was our first time eating inside at the restaurant. Super clean dining room and you can watch them cook in the kitchen through a glass partition. Service is FAST! Portions are HUGE and the food is good, really great value. I took half my rib slab home. We will definitely return for the pork chop, it looked amazing!

we wanted to like this place and support more local businesses, but unfortunately just about everything was not good & bland, brisket dinner was very dry and thinly sliced like something you’d find on a beef sandwich, there was very little sauce on it which didn’t help its case- the garlic bread that came with it was pretty badly charred, the fried pickles, I mean even my 8 yo son asked why these were called fried pickles and not just pickles. And then the full slab of ribs my husband ordered were so dry and sweet he didn’t even bother to finish half of it. hoping it’s something they can work on!

First time trying this location. It was decent. I still believe the original was the best. The chicken sandwich was basic, the old location had more of a char to it and the taste was better. The fries were mediocre at best. Will be back to try actual pork chops and bbq in the future.

First and last visit. The food was very disappointing! Being a BBQ place you would think sliced brisket and pulled pork would sliced and pulled!!! Not meat that clearly looks like it was dumped out of a plastic container found in the freezer section!!! Very disappointing and zero taste. Any other BBQ restaurant has BBQ sauces to add or try. This was served with the meats covered in their sauce.
Walleye was ok way too many bones!

Google station one smokehouse in Plainfield that is what BBQ should look like and the flavor of the meats without and sauce won’t disappoint.
Was hoping we found a BBQ spot closer to home. Don’t waste your time.
With the garage doors open way too many flies too.

I hate to say that I was very disappointed in Hog Wild. I had heard great things and they did a wonderful job with the interior, but the food did not live up to expectations. We ordered a pulled pork sandwich, BBQ chicken sandwich, and a full slab of ribs which was $60. First of all, they drench everything in sauce so the pulled pork was so soggy. Aside from the chicken sandwich which was so tough and dry I was gnawing on the meat. It had no flavor whatsoever. The ribs were also drenched in sauce and really fatty. The pics are before and after our meal. Another point was that the sides were nothing special. Everything seemed like it comes frozen and really had no flavor (corn, fries, potatoes, and Brussel sprouts). I was surprised also that a BBQ restaurant did not have Mac and cheese as an option. I am really sad to write this review because I know it’s a new business, but I hope they will take this as constructive criticism. I’d think that the items we got would be standard for a BBQ joint, so if they were so average then I don’t know what that says for the other items. We’re now out $60 which is a huge bummer.

I dont do reviews unless im really upset, this is definitely the exception. The food was fantastic, the service was amazing and the place was extremely clean. The price vs the quantity (& quality) was fantastic. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back here again. Definitely worth the drive no matter how far. Top shelf BBQ!

First time in… we absolutely enjoyed this location! Bright and inviting. Food comes reasonably quick. Pork chops are tender and well seasoned! Portions were great. Brussels sprouts are steamed, not roasted, so just be aware. BBQ sauce needs some work.. their hot barely touches on spicy. Service was friendly and efficient. We’ll definitely be back for more.

My daughter & I decided to get a bite to eat at Hog Wild. I have ordered take out before and the food was delicious. This time we decided to dine in. The dining room is spacious and clean. The young gentleman greeted us with a friendly hello and took our order. My daughter ordered a chicken sandwich and I ordered a half slab of ribs. The food was excellent, the ribs were meaty and the chicken sandwich tasted like it should, not greasy. The sides were plentiful. A woman came to our table removed our dishes and asked how our meal was. I smiled and said it was top notch. The atmosphere was so warm and inviting. We will definitely be back. The prices were not crazy high and you really get a lot for your money. I also like the fact that they do run weekday specials as well. I can’t wait to try the meatloaf next. Way to go Hog Wild! Keep up the great work! You are my go to for BBQ.

Why is the Oak Lawn location better than New Lenox? We live close to the original Midlothian location which was always great. We now go to the other two locations. Oak Lawn is just like Midlothian was. New Lenox is just not up to par. My husband has always loved the pork chop meal but has been disappointed in the dried out one in New Lenox Everytime. There are a couple of other items that miss the boat also. We have been there several times because of it’s location to Silver Cross where I have lots of appointments. I think we’re going to have to find somewhere else for lunch on those days.

The meatloaf was great and I had enough leftover for dinner. The porkchop sandwich is highly renowned here for a very good reason; it is delicious. The service was very pleasant. They have a nice fireplace adding atmosphere and nice heat to the sitting area. This area is separated from a bar with plenty of sports tv.
