I never ate here before today is my first day eating here for takeout. Everything went great. The food is phenomenal. The ribs are falling off the bone, each bite man. It is Filled with excellent flavor I definitely recommend whoever is new here to order the spicy full rack ribs so much flavor and also super tender

What an excellent restaurant. Our motorcycle group did a ride and stopped here for lunch. We were amazed at the quality of food, the service was super, and they have reasonable prices.
The food was so good. I had the pull pork, which was excellent. The other guys were also very impressed with the food. I was thoroughly impressed and will visit again.

I enjoyed my lunch here, and would definitely come back. I got the pulled pork sandwich with a side of the chicken corn chowder, and both items were delicious. The pulled pork with Carolina sauce was tender and flavorful, yet not too messy to eat. The corn chowder was rich and full of corn flavor, and I’d go back just for that. The staff was decently friendly and the interior was comfortable enough. There’s outdoor seating if the weather permits. Give it a try if you like barbecue.

Decent local bbq with options. I tried the 2 meat with pulled pork and ribs. Ribs were cooked properly, very nice. The house bbq is tangy, not much spice. A side of mac n cheese and a cornbread Frisbee were included. Both were ok, nothing fancy. Ill try the slaw next. I also tried some wings. They were well portioned but not super flavorful. Sauce is served on the side. Id come back. Thanks.

Ordered 30 dollars worth of food the pot roast sandwich nasty and salty. The brisket was burnt and then tried to get it tender the ribs had no seasoning at all not even salt and pepper and was so dry and the chicken was cooked well but no seasoning the bbq sauce was like just hot sauce I’m from muskegon and this is not my first time here completely not worth the 30 plus dollars I spent and then a up charge on the brisket which is 3 small cut peices and burnt taste don’t kno how u serve 1000 of customers a week when the food is not good at least this time irlt was not and I kno your going to blame me instead of accountability but it was a waste of 30 plus dollars

And I do reviews of this nature to maybe help the business accommodate for their customers of the taste there looking for the time spent looking into my reviews is the time you could have found a better recipe for 30 dollars and I could have spent more good thing I did not
Also as u can see I did not ask for a refund even tho the food should have been I think you know it’s not up to par have a good one

Chicken was a bit on the dry side. BBQ sauce is ok bit vinegary. Ribs were very juicy and tender, the pork and beans were good. Customer service was excellent and food came out quickly and hot.

The pulled pork was tender and had good flavor. I was also happy with the portion sizes for the 2 meat combo. I wasn’t a fan of the brisket, which was bland and tasted more like a pot roast. It wasn’t necessarily bad, just wasn’t what I had expected for sliced brisket. I’d say it was cooked slow enough to be tender, but it lacked enough seasoning and almost no bark. If the flavor was there I would have rated higher.

This place has really good food. Most noteably, it’s served up VERY fast! My order was ready for pickup at the end of the counter before I even paid! Good for quick lunch breaks. Their prices seem to be very reasonable. I had the 3 meat sampler on Friday. I picked pulled pork, sausage, and chicken wings. It came with corn bread and another side. Totaled around $11. It was a perfect lunch, filled me up, and it was cheap (for BBQ).
To be honest, I’ve had better barbeque. That’s not to say this BBQ was bad, but it lacked that authentic, smokey, flavorful BBQ taste I was hoping for. It was almost lent to the bland side. BUT! I’d rather eat here than get lunch at a fast food place, and it’s only one of a couple BBQ options for the Holland area.
So all in all, Don’t miss out on this gem. It’s a better than most choice for quick food in the area. If you happen to go through Grand Rapids, you have to stop at Two Scott’s Barbeque. The best BBQ I’ve had in West Michigan.

I love Hog Wild BBQ! I just had a tasting for my wedding and their food is amazing, and they have a very friendly owner and staff! They have delicious choices for meats and sides. They are easy to work with and very knowledgeable. I am excited for them to cater my wedding!
