Had a lunch of ribs, okra, and fries. Everything was delicious! The okra could have used a touch longer in the fryer, but was still good. Service was excellent, checked a couple of times to see if I needed anything or if everything was good.
Will definitely return if I am in the area.

We have eaten here several times and it is always delicious. Tonight I was with my husband, daughter, SIL, and grandson. We ordered food while my
Daughter was in the car nursing. The food came out quicker than we expected and she was nursing for awhile so her food got cold. Ofc no fault to them so we didn’t say anything but the manager, Alisha, came over to ask what kind of meat was on her nachos. They then brought her an entire new order for free! Such a kind gesture and much appreciated! You cannot get great food AND service like that very often! Check them out, you won’t be disappointed!

Passing through this neck of the woods for work and chanced upon this glorious food paradise. In my life I’ve never had a bbq meal that was so incredibly delicious and I’ve eaten bbq everywhere from the Carolinas to Texas and everywhere in between. The walls lined with competition awards are a testament to the true craftsmanship of this place. Drew the owner and mastermind even came out and shared his knowledge and passion for his work with me. What a great guy. Would 100% recommend Hog Tide to anyone even remotely in the neighborhood. Worth the drive and then some.

Just passing through and asked at the gas station if there was a place I should eat if I had one day here. This was the top answer. They have won SO MANY BBQ TROPHIES that they will need to build more spaces to display more! Fast and filling. A great little place!

Not only does Hog Tide in Aurora, MO have wonderful BBQ, they have the most kind hearted staff as well!
Tonight my husband and I met my parents out to share a meal. I started to feed our newborn in the car while the family went in to get in line and order. Well as luck would have it… this was his longest feed to date. Meaning I walked in around 25-30 minutes after everyone and the food had already come to the table. Alisha, the manager, noticed me walking in with little man and had my plate remade so it would be hot
This touched my heart, someone who doesn’t even know me made sure I had a hot meal. Probably a Mama herself knowing that most meals run cold because baby comes first ❤️

Thank you again to Alisha and the Hog Tide crew tonight!

Well I’m not sure which BBQ is my favorite now. I will not mention the other establishment here. This review is just for Hog Tide. First off, this restaurant was spotless from the moment we walked through the door. My wife and I were greeted even before we got to the door. There was a waitress bussing an outside table and even though she had her hands full she welcomed us and opened the door for us. I was impressed and we returned the action by holding the door for her to get through with her full hands. The rest of the staff was friendly and informative. The before mentioned waitress took our order. We then found a table. There were a few televisions and of course they had the Cardinals game on. I don’t think we waited 10 minutes for our food to come out. It might have been a little longer but with everything to look at the time went fast. Another waitress brought us our food. She was very nice as well and attentive. The food was great. I had a 2 meat platter with smoked chicken and Texas sausage. Both were wonderful but the best was the baked potato salad and cornbread. My wife had burnt ends platter. She also had the potato salad but she got fried okra as well. Everything on her plate was delicious. Thank you Hog Tide BBQ for a wonderful dinner all around.
