One of my favorite restaurants in the Wisconsin Dells area. Good selection of both German and Columbian foods to choose from. I think the best feature here is the 30 German beers on tap. Most of these beers I have never even heard of before. I had the cheddarwurst on a pretzel bun. It was tasty. The spaetzle was pretty good. We also had a Columbian appetizer that was fries covered with shredded chicken, cheese, brats, and a sauce. It was great and was so much food for the price. Service was excellent as well.

We will never go back. The first red flag was the Spanish music and siracha on the table. It’s a “German restaurant” and advertised as such. The menu outside was all German food. The sign outside even says “German restaurant”. I asked for a water with lemon and got a water with lime. My husband asked for diet coke and was given a can. It was $3.00 for that can. The menu lists maybe 10 German items and the rest was Columbian. The waitress had a Columbian flag shirt. I ordered the Schnitzel. The spaetzel was flavorless and soggy. The Schnitzel is advertised with a brioche bun, lemon etc. It was literally a smashed cheap hamburger bun with a piece of chicken. No lemon etc. I ate maybe a 1/4th because I was starving. The waitress asked how everything was and I told her it was disappointing and pointed out everything wrong. She literally said “That’s a kitchen problem. Would you like your bill?”. It was a shocking experience and $50 for 2 items a can of diet coke. Never again will we go here. My husband is German and was so looking forward to this place.

Service was good. The Turkish Dumplings were under spiced and a bit low on the filling. The meat in the doner kebab was fantastic, but there was so little of it that there were bites with none in it. Baklava was decent.

Stopped in for a late lunch. Wasn’t too busy and service was decent. Tried a few different beers and those were ok, nothing amazing. Food was decent, not bad but didn’t Wow. Ok for a quick stop, the outdoor seating area is nice. They have some yard games, etc too.

Decided to walk in downtown before heading out for dinner and came across this cute German garden and the coziness caught our attention. Lenna and Butz made our experience even better. We got the Bavarian pretzel and we each got a beer (mine was Abro Rekorderlig Strawberry-Lime
(Jordgubb-Lime) and it was sooo good. I like sweet drinks and it was perfect). Great suggestion Lenna! Nice backyard with games and nice music. Definitely going back and if you’re in town, you should definitely stop by.

As German as it gets. Brats, kraut, spaetzle, pretzels and of course beer. Great beer selection, including some of my non-German favorites. We went late afternoon with the kids and ate at the bar. Good times.

Overall it was quite pricey for pretty disappointing german food. The pretzel and cheese curds were the only things I could recommend. Several schnitzel were burnt, the potato salad was slimy and flavorless, and the chips appetizer was just a handful of Ruffles with a sauce that was not the French onion bacon dip that was advertised. The beer selection seemed good but what I was brought wasn’t what I ordered. I hope our experience was a one off but we won’t be returning to find out.

The best Bavarian pretzel I have ever had at a restaurant. The chicken snitzle was excellent, I just wish there was more. It was pan-fried perfectly. The spatzle was nice, again wish there was more. The bratwurst were flavorful and the pretzel buns complimented them nicely. Would come here every time we stay at the Dells from now on!

The jagerschnitzel and spatzle was amazing!!! Like rolling my eyes in the back of your head of say oh my gosh good. Best german food I have had and I’ve grown up around a lot of german food. Would 100% go again.
Would not recommend the turkish dumpings. We wanted to try something new so we gave them a go. Was not very fond of them, but we did go back and forth between the turkish dumpings and jagerschnitzel and it made every bite of the jagerschnitzel amazing!
The food was amazing. The aesthetic was enjoyable, but not what I would consider a german aesthetic. Highly recommend. Next time we are in the area we will definitely go there again!

Good German Food and Beer! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The music playing (German Pop) puts a modern twist on the place! I would highly recommend it. We had the spinach salad, the pretzel, and cheese curds. All were great.
